Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
As an MSP we use Veeam Data Platform to backup and replicate our clients servers.
Some of our clients purely use Veeam Data Platform for the backup functionality whereas others make use of the full replication feature to quickly restore a server in case of a disaster.
We also find Veeam Data Platform to be our most cost effective backup solution to use for clients who can't spend a lot of money on a solution

- Better notification system to alert when a backup suceeds/fails etc.
- Make it easier to delete old backups
- Restoring files can be very slow

We currently have around 15 devices that are backed up by Veeam Data Platform, ranging from virtual servers, physical servers and PC's
We have less used previously because other backup solutions provides better overall reporting. This is important to us as an MSP as we manage a lot of devices so checking them manually or singularly would take a very long time.

We were previously using outdated backup software which was unrealiable and slow to restore. Changing to Veeam Data Platform helped us with file restore speed and security compared to the old backup software we were using.
Encrypting our backups became more and more important and gives us and our clients more security in knowing their data is safe.

We benefit greatly from cloud backups as it provides another avenue for our backups to be stored. Pairing a cloud backup with an off premisis or on premisis backup solution makes sure there will always be a working backup copy available in case of a disaster.
Veeam Data Platform offers a different solution from other backup providers, which is replication.
We choose Veeam Data Platform for our clients who will benefit from using replication to avoid downtime and keep RTO's lower
