Veeam Data Platform is our go-to source for backups and recovery across multiple sites and data centers. Veeam Data Platform enables us to back up our data securely to multiple sites and the cloud, allowing for resilient, secure backups. Compared to other solutions, the ability to bring our own storage significantly lowers the price by allowing options for the storage targets. Integrating the VeeamOne platform allows deeper insight into backups, ensuring we can meet SLAs while preparing for the future.

We currently cover approximately 100 VMs across multiple sites. Due to the use of snapshot technology in our primary storage, we use less Veeam Data Platform capacity than planned, as not all machines require long-term backups/ could be easily recreated from other means.

We are a long-term client of Veeam Data Platform for our backup needs, coupled with VMware virtualization. As new features are introduced into the platform, we integrate them into our workflow. We have investigated other platforms but ultimately stayed with Veeam Data Platform due to its flexibility and proven performance.
We do not currently protect any cloud workloads with Veeam Data Platform. Our cloud usage of Veeam Data Platform includes incorporating an additional storage option. In our case, the ability to write to cloud cold archive storage allows for cost-effective long-term archiving of machines we will never likely need to recover from yet meet regulatory requirements.
We do not use this feature at this time.
Veeam Data Platform offers the greatest level of flexibility and feature set compared to any of the other platforms we compared it to. The ability to choose our own storage in a proven platform makes it the most cost-effective platform for meeting all of our needs. Veeam Data Platform's cost-effectiveness, feature set, and flexibility keep us returning to it as our backup system of choice.
