Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform Foundation
Currently I use Veeam to do a daily backup of our EHR server, as well as maintaining replication at 15 minute intervals.
- Virtualized workloads
- In addition to back up, we also replicate some of these workloads

- Maintaining backups with restore points
- Consistently performing replication on a set schedule
- Notification options
- Need a way to schedule individual days/times to skip backup/replication along as exceptions to the normal schedule

Currently using this for one server. I planned to use it for just this server, but I will be using it for more virtual machines in the future.
- As this free version of Veeam replaced another product that would cost us thousands to upgrade, it's a pretty good deal. Even the paid version will be a vast improvement.
- Knowing we can recover quickly from a server failure is a big bonus.
Our last disaster revealed our backup plan to be ... inadequate. Adding a backup server with Veeam as our manager, we are breathing a lot easier.
