Overall Satisfaction with Ventiv Claims

Ventiv Claims was implemented many years ago. It required months of work and collaboration, but we were able to significantly customize the product to meet our needs. Costs at that time were more reasonable.
[Ventiv Claims is] used as our Claims Administration system for our self-administered organization, addressing all aspects of our internal claims process domestically. Other Risk Management departments access the information, including Finance and Loss Prevention.

Pros

  • Very flexible system, which can be customized to meet customer needs.
  • Continually upgrading/innovating their product each year.

Cons

  • Need stability in customer support personnel.
  • Upgrades/improvements too expensive.
  • Better testing of upgrades needed.
  • The product has allowed us to continually improve our processes and efficiencies by leveraging new/offered technological advancements. This has resulted in a positive ROI over the long run.
  • Because some of the modules offered were deemed too costly, we have not fully utilized all of the product's capabilities.
Haven't utilized much on-line training.

Riskonnect is currently used, along with Ventiv Claims. Riskonnect was thought to be a more user-friendly database and better suited
for conversion to other systems/products/departments. Ventiv Claims has a better overall claims administration system.
Ventiv Claims is suited to large or small organizations due to its product flexibility, although the cost may be prohibitive to smaller organizations. The best use is for a claims administration product.
