Overall Satisfaction with Viewpoint Vista
We use Vista as our construction company's ERP. Vista helps us with job costs and compares current and past jobs. It also allows us to manage our material and aggregate sales and inventory. We still have some fine-tuning to do with the software, but it has functioned as expected.
- Gives us real time inventory updates when used properly.
- Allows for integration between other software's.
- Good customer support.
- Their payroll module is terribly slow and very clunky.
- Job costing parameters are very strict and limited.
- Each module interface has too many forms and screens.
- There is too much flexibility regarding where to put information into the system. There isn't one place to do anything, which creates confusion for staff.
- So far it has made our data input take longer than previous ERP.
- No change to productivity within the company.
- So far it has cost more than it has saved.
