Overall Satisfaction with Turbonomic (formerly VMTurbo)
Right now we have a service catalog request to review VM performance on a machine by machine basis. This allows us to focus on customer pain quickly and easily make judgement on next steps to resolve issues. We also use it to help justify our cost model by efficiently assigning resources to virtual machines while minimizing performance impacts to the environment.
- The reporting and recommended actions are solid and actionable while showing true value to the business.
- Automating optimization tasks keeps my staff sleeping at night while waking up to a fine tuned environment.

We picked Turbonomic over vFoglight as it had better automation functionality. It also easily allowed us to create dashboards for business units to look at various applications. Also the sheer performance of Turbonomic was much better in terms of user experience and I think that is absolutely critical to end users.
