Overall Satisfaction with VoilaNorbert

A big part of our services as a content marketing agency is building links to content that we create. This means we email a lot of people. From bloggers to journalists to companies with websites, we use VoilaNorbert to find email addresses. Pretty much everyone on our team uses it and its one of the first tools we tell new hires to download. The fact that it's a chrome plugin also makes it super simple to use and fits in our workflow.
  • Finds email addresses
  • Backs up email addresses with other contact info if it exists
  • Keeps a database of all of your contacts added
  • Sometimes they can't always find or confirm (but that's to be expected)
  • Speeds up workflow across the board for our PR/link building.
  • The database function prevents us from repeating the same tasks.
I've used a handful of other products, one is called Hunter.io. Another is called BuzzStream. Both have their advantages. Hunter we've used as a backup to finding emails if VoilaNorbert can't find them. BuzzStream does have nice email finding capabilities, but they are also more robust from an emailing and tracking perspective. I know that VoilaNorbert has some of that functionality but BuzzStream's is more intuitive. But I think VoilaNorbert's email address capabilities are probably faster/better than the other two.
I've never had any issues personally, but I know that any of my other colleagues have had quick support after emailing.

Do you think VoilaNorbert delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with VoilaNorbert's feature set?

Yes

Did VoilaNorbert live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of VoilaNorbert go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy VoilaNorbert again?

Yes

VoilaNorbert is great for sales people trying to find email addresses but we use it mainly in a PR capacity. It's best suited in our workflow if you know the site and the person you are reaching out to. In terms of scenarios where it is less appropriate, if you are looking to find related people or related sites to the one you are reaching out to, I haven't explored that functionality.
