Great and robust service clear pricing user friendly.
Overall Satisfaction with Vultr
I have been using Vultr for over 8 years now and have absolutely loved it. They are very reliable and I have seen how they have grown their services over the past years. I have grown my business with them and have found a solution to my every need. If you are looking for a simple virtual server or need something as robust as bare metal, they have it all. Pricing is very transparent and easy to manage.
Pros
- Bare metal and virtual servers, both CPU and GPU.
- S3 File Storage and Network File Systems
- Networking and Load Balancing
- Kubernetes Implementation
Cons
- Firewall capabilities for bare metal servers.
- Cheaper pricing models for bare metal servers.
- Cheaper pricing for Kubernetes.
- Saved money
- Simplified infrastructure
- Hybrid Cloud
I think that Vultr's pricing model is very clear as to how pricing is managed. I do believe that the pricing is a bit steep for cloud services but yet again, all cloud services have steep pricing. I realize that this is very dependent on compute power but it can add up with replication.
I have been able to expand my services from the US to Mexico and India. They have datacenters in some of the most economically active cities around the world and this has been a game changer for me, allowing me to reach clients all around the world. This is especially helpful as it eliminates the reliance on other cloud services such as Amazon, Alibaba, Microsoft, etc.
Having the availability to deploy infrastructure in pretty much all major cities around the world has given my company the ability to roll out services wherever my clients need it, this has been especially helpful in reducing time of implementation and connectivity with my existing infrastructure.
- Alibaba Cloud ECS Bare Metal Servers, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Azure Virtual Machines
Vultr offers the same services as all the major cloud providers however Vulr offers a clear pricing modeling with no hidden fees. This has been incisive in deciding which provider to go with. I have never encountered any downtime with their services Technically, Vultr has the same services with the plus that pricing is so much clear.
