Overall Satisfaction with Watchguard Endpoint Security
We use WatchGuard EPDR on all of the devices in the company. Phones tablets, computers and servers are all protected by EPDR. with the phones and tablets, it not only scans all of the devices for unwanted software, but also allow for remote wipe and devise location. on computers and servers, EPDR keeps the computers free of malware, and prevents loading of questionable software until it is verified for safety.
Pros
- rogue software installation
- prevention of visiting potentially compromised web sites
- prevention of unwanted viruses from questionable sites
Cons
- Loading of EPDR on tablets and phones can be a bit challenging, primarily due to device security. It would be nice to have EPDR installation software to override this, as it can be challenging to find the settings to get the EPDR running, at times.
- Alleviates the worry of malware from loading itself do to emails received containing exploited vulnerabilities.
- Prevents loading of software, not needed for business purposes.
- Assures that devices are secure and able to be remotely wiped if lost.
Having one portal to manage all of the edge access and endpoint devices makes it easy to perform monitoring of all of the devices and access.
The WatchGuard family of products works seamlessly to help protect the Edge and endpoints in one cloud portal, making it a seamless way to monitor and react to threats.
I have worked with symantec endpoint protection before working with WatchGuard EPDR. Watchguard is vastly superior.
