Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

I utilize the WatchGuard Network Security Firewall to secure the network that my Radiologists use to read studies. It is easy to use, setup, and track any issues. The firewall secures the network allowing us to stay HIPAA compliant. It also gives me peace of mind knowing that that is one less thing to be concerned about regularly.

Cons

  • automatic updating at a specified time would be nice
  • add a wizard to setup VPN tunnels this would add all relevant configurations as well
  • secured a separated business network

  • Neutral impact: This is a necessary component of doing work across the internet. I went with an option that was easy to use and wouldn't break the bank. I got a perfect product for my needs and great support to go along with it.
I purchased through CDW. I was happy with the purchase process. I have been using WatchGuard devices for years now. CDW is a reliable way to purchase their products.
I have 3 devices in separated locations. This unified security platform allows me to check the status of the device and device licenses without having to remote in to the users station and interrupt their work.
I have not had great success with using the cloud products as of yet. I do intend to look at it more.

Ease of setup use and maintenance are amazing. The learning curve to switch from a Cisco ASA to WatchGuard Network Security's FireBox was non-existent due to WatchGuard Network Security's being so easy to use.
