We use Unified Threat Management (UTM) mostly for network security. Main issues Secure remote work at scale, Incident response & threat containment, remote access SSL VPN & Web Blocker

  • Protection against phishing and malware
  • Site to Site VPN Stability
  • Great Logging and Reporting

Cons

  • More behavior‑based detection instead of static signatures
  • Some WebBlocker categories are too broad
  • More Advance Analytics would be great
  • Positive ROI
  • Consolidation of Security Functions (License & Vendor Cost Reduction)
