Overall Satisfaction with Webex Connect

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Relatively limited in scope, at least at my level - it is used mainly for web conferences.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Connection - but only sometimes
Screensharing, works pretty well
File exchange

Cons

Audio sound - it cuts of way too often, it is not reliable
Sometimes unreliable when there are more than 3 participants
Glitches when multiple programs are running

Return on Investment

Positive - connects people
Negative - glitchy, unreliable, hard to install

As explained before, it is glitchy, unreliable and I really would not recommend it to other users if they have other options, as I feel that the software is not user-friendly at all. It is such a hassle to use and to try to make it work, sometimes valuable time (organizational time) is lost.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams

It doesn't stack against software like Teams - although Teams does have its own faults. Teams streamlines the communication between users, while Webex Connect feels outdated and is very glitchy. It is an ordeal to use Webex Connect when compared to Teams or even other similar applications. I do not recommend Webex Connect.

A meeting with not a lot of participants, where they all are users of Webex Connect- this is a scenario that works.
A busy meeting with lots of individuals that use other software than Webex Connect.
