Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I became acquainted with Whova through a recent national conference for the NODCC. It was very helpful in facilitating communication among conference participants, allowed me to download slides from my talk, and allowed participants to easily send me questions afterward. It was very easy to use and the most efficient means to keep track of schedule, review content, and communicate with participants and presenters that I've ever used at a conference.

Pros and Cons

Provides means to communicate easily between conference attendees.
Provides updates to schedule adjustments.
Allowed for the downloading of documents (lecture slides).

I cannot think of any areas of deficiency or concern.

Return on Investment

Improved attendee engagement.
Facilitated communication before, during and after the conference.
Decreased my stress as I had the information I needed on the app without having to have a conference note with me.

Support Rating

I didn't need customer support as the app was so efficient with no snags.

Implementation Rating

It was easy to download and very self-explanatory. It was one of the easiest and most efficient apps I have used.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would love to see it used at all conferences I attend as it is so thorough and easy to use. It organized data, facilitated communication between participants and presenters, allowed for download of photographs, allowed for download of presenter slides, and allowed for a question and answer post-presentation.
