Overall Satisfaction with Whova

Red Forum is an all-day event. This is an annual event that features professional development and engagement with all staff in the workplace. Strategic plan information and relevant topics for staff to explore with a rich diversity of presenters. I had the honor to present this year as well as last year. I like the mobile app option along with the PC version.

  • I was a presenter and had difficulty seeing speaker notes on my presentation slides at the same time as viewing the chat/polls
  • Navigating the main page using the computer is a bit different than the mobile app - I found the mobile app easier to navigate
  • The platform shows the agenda like a menu
  • Ice breakers are a good way to get to know people and their interests
  • I like the photo competition
Each person who had a role in helping me prepare my presentation was knowledgeable about this app. I have not dealt personally with anyone from the customer support team but all questions were answered and troubleshooting completed as we planned for the event. High-quality performance was evident throughout this Red Forum event.
I found Whova to be similar to many social media apps that I already use. It was easy to navigate. This was my second experience using Whova in my presenter role. I liked the icebreaker section to connect with other participants before the event started. I look forward to next year’s event.

Whova is a great alternative to in-person conferences. I can see how it may be useful for hybrid events - go to a live conference and also have sessions that are virtual. I think the college made a good choice in using Whova. I have presented twice using Whova and had great responses.
