WP Engine is currently being used for my personal portfolio website.

- Hacked site fixed at no charge
- Great security & speed
- Great developer friendly tools
- If you exceed the set number of visitors it will result in additional fees
- Not applicable for non-WP platforms
- Limited versatility

WP engine is good if you don't want to do all of the IT work such as back up, website scaling, website performance, etc. Of course you will have complete control over customization.
