Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Xero was used as our accounting software. We used this for payroll, bank reconciliation, invoicing, quotes, etc. It helped our company transition from MYOB to something our entire company could be logged into at one time and see real time.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Xero is a great tool for multiple people in the company to use at one time. We used this to review quotes and invoices as well as reconcile different accounts.
Xero is very easy to use and catch onto as it has modules and directions.
Xero has many forums that help with customization and best practices.

Cons

Xero did not integrate with Authorize.net which is something we were hoping to accomplish.
Customizing quotes and invoices was not as easy as it could have been with Xero.

Alternatives Considered

Xero was inexpensive compared to the alternatives (Quickbooks online, MYOB, etc) and helped the business in similar ways.

Likelihood to Renew

Xero support has impressed our company and its ease of use. Both of these things are the reason we will more than likely be renewing.

Likelihood to Recommend

Xero really streamlined our accounting process. We were able to create invoices much quicker and send them easier. It is key to know if your accounting system integrates with your credit card processor if you have one. It is also very helpful to have your business accounts linked to your accounting platform.
