Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

Our organisation uses Brightmine for a number of things from benchmarking HR data, employment law services, upskilling line managers, the HR team use this for a sense check and our Governance team uses this for sense checking. The problems the business has which are addressed with Brightmine are that we are able to ensure legal compliance with employment practices.

  • There is not always a policy or documents on everything
  • I would like to see how the legal service is done differently
  • The interactive flow charts are a struggle to visually navigate
  • Legal support has resulted in shortened ER issues
  • ER issues have mitigated risk
The legal support has positively impacted our HR compliance against the law. Also the FAQs are a great way to have a quick sense check on some of the least common but basic questions.
I have not personally seen Brightmine being useful for HR strategy. That said I was not fully away of this availability so will now investigate.
Brightmine is very similar, it is a better presented product but comes at a considerable cost in comparison. For that reason, we are looking at alternatives for our renewal.

It was so long ago to recall
Change management was minimal - None really was simple to use as did not have any other system in place.

Could be too limited but then again could be complex which makes it appear limited.

Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - I have not done for a while but was easy at the time.

When account manager left we were not informed and took a long time to be told who are new account manager was.
