Overall Satisfaction with Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins

We utilize the Yoast SEO plugin on every WordPres site we build and/or manage. This is a very quick and simple solution for high level SEO factors in regards to content and page structure.
  • Great for analyzing content and recommending improvements.
  • Excellent for implementing SEO friendly meta tags and page titles, with just a few clicks.
  • Quick analysis tool for general on-page optimization.
  • Some of the content recommendations are a bit vague.
  • More direction for implementing schema.
  • It would be great to include semantic content ideas, similar to SEMRush.
  • Yoast decreased time spent optimizing page content.
  • Yoast is much more affordable than hiring a specialist to perform a lot of the menial analysis.
  • WPMU, All in one seo pack and SEMRush
Yoast is essentially a light version of SEMRush combined with WPMU Dev. It features the most important on-page optimization features, while SEMRush and WPMU go into more detail.
Yoast is a great tool for anyone managing a WordPress site. It simplifies the optimization process, but does not integrate more advanced strategies.
