Overall Satisfaction with Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins
- Provides insight into your pages/posts content as it relates to keywords that you wish to target.
- Provides complete control over your title tag, meta description, OG/Twitter Card meta data, robots meta tag, and canonical tag.
- Generates automated sitemap.xml files.
- Connects with console tools (i.e. Google Search Console).
- There are some UI improvements I think could be implemented to make the editing of the title and meta description tags easier to spot (it's very crucial to customize this per page/post).
- The plugins are free and the premium versions are inexpensive.
- They have provided us with full control over our WordPress website's meta data, which is crucial to completing our SEO work - this has resulted in successful SEO campaigns and very happy clients.
- Google XML Sitemaps and Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP
Google XML Sitemaps was used to generate sitemap.xml files, but Yoast's plugins now handle this for me (it causes a conflict if you use both). Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP is a plugin that works with the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin and the AMP plugin, which is made by a different developer - this is not a plugin in competition with Yoast, but that assists it to work with another plugin.
