Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow
Ziflow allows my team to streamline our projects internally and externally by limiting version-control issues. It makes it easier to catch issues with proofs especially using its compare versions function. Ziflow also makes it easier to mark up and track any changes needed for the clients. I like that the team can label each and every comment to highlight if it's been done or addressed or if there's a question for studio/art to highlight comments that need to be addressed sooner and allow for easier communication between team members.
Pros
- Minimizes version control.
- Allows for better communication internally.
- Eases project efficiency by incorporating many functions, labels, markup options.
Cons
- Has a lot of features, so may take a few trials to figure out how to best mark up a project.
- Sometimes, a few markups will be very close to each other and the lines or boxes end up overlapping hiding where exactly the markup should be.
- Ziflow has been been down from time to time.
- Sometimes I need to click on a comment box several times before it shows me what the comment is connected to in the proof.
- Overall, easy to collaborate with all team members to approve projects.
