Currently, Zoom is being used by a small subset of people to allow for meetings to take place from places other than a conference room.

Zoom has more functionality, and seems to be developing its platform on a much more regular basis. Lifesize is focused on developing their hardware, making their software development lag behind. Zoom is also much more streamlined and more simple to use than Lifesize is. End-users are much more likely to enjoy using Zoom due to its simplicity.
