Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
My organization is standardized on WebEX, but I often use Zoom when dealing with customers and partners. I think that the organization rushed into deciding on WebEx, and I think Zoom would have been a better option.
- Meetings start quickly - efficiency is huge when multiple users are (potentially) wasting time.
- Screen sharing - the soft codec makes screen sharing quick and easy.
- Green screen - video-friendly background options integrate well. I'm seeing a lot more of this.
- Integration with predominant control system platforms- AMX, Crestron, Extron.
- Retroactive integration with existing room systems.
- Analytics software prevalence or integration - RMS, Fusion, Global Viewer, Utelogy, etc.
- Negative - Neat is replacing one of our products.
- Negative - partnering with our competitors.
- Positive - utilizing the JBL PSB-1 soundbar.
- Positive - contributing to the VTC familiarity in the higher education market.
I don't like it - weak control integration due to Crestron.
