Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
We are in the process of rolling out Zoom to our whole county. So far it is making meetings and collaboration more efficient and productive. We are saving the county money by reducing travel time and we feel like we are bringing the county in line with current technology.
- Reliability - It is important to have a platform that is reliable and doesn't have a bunch of issues otherwise people get discouraged and will stop using it.
- Ease of use - Zoom is very user-friendly as it's easy to use. Even for the more technically challenged.
- Great Features - Zoom has great features which make it not only cool to use but very dynamic and productive.

- We are saving the county money as people aren't having to travel for meetings.
- Improved our HR abilities as they can now video conference applicants who are out of the area. Instead of just a phone call they can now see the applicant which is more of an in-person feel.
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
Skype for Business will not work for video conferencing outside of our network so we can only video conference internally. Their chat feature is way better as well. You can save your chats and search them as well. You can also record meetings and it automatically takes notes from the meeting that you can save.
