Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
We use Zoom Workplace as our primary video conference platform. We often record meetings to make use of the audio transcript and utilize the AI companion notes for draft note taking. We recently began using Zoom Clips for video tutorials for our organizations technology systems. Each clip is one to ten minutes long and creates a small library of training videos.
Pros
- The Zoom Workplace Clips are easy to use; easily downloaded; and creates high quality video tutorials (with or without the in picture video).
- The video conference platform is very easy to use.
Cons
- The AI companion gets many things wrong in the summary. It would be good if it learned from the meetings in our organization.
- The audio transcript inserts the time and date stamp too frequently, making it very difficult to read. It should only mark the time and date and speaker when the speaker changes.
- more consistent training and onboarding
I think Zoom Workplace Clips is much better than the free versions of Loom and Screencastify.
I like the UI for Teams better, but I have not been able to use the other features in teams to accurately compare.
