Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
I use Zoom Workplace for calls, whiteboard usage, and chatting. The business problems it addresses are collaboration and communication. The whiteboards in particular enable easy visual planning and ideation. The scope of my use case is that Zoom Workplace touches almost everything I do I also use Zoom Workplace to review recordings of past calls and to use those transcripts for things like training programs.
Pros
- Setting up calls is easy
- The auto-generated chapters from transcripts are nice
- The Zoom whiteboard is a great feature for planning and ideation
- Zoom is just better than Microsoft Teams!
Cons
- Although the whiteboard is nice, it's not as advanced as I'd like to be. For example, navigating it can sometimes be tricky, and it doesn't have nearly as many features as a tool like Miro.
- The Zoom integration for Outlook has issues, it doesn't always sync
- The React feature on Zoom calls doesn't always work and sometimes isn't visible
- The auto-generated chapters from the transcript are great, and it's a feature we love.
- The ability to use Zoom and connect it from our conference rooms is really nice and improves collaboration.
I think the user experience on Zoom Workplace is better than Microsoft Teams
