Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo
We are a retained executive search firm. We use it to identify prospective candidates, to identify companies from where to source candidates, and sometimes to identify prospective client companies.
Pros
- Provide emails of prospective candidates.
- Provide names of prospective candidates that are not available elsewhere.
Cons
- There was a previous feature that told if a person identified was already on another list when they came up in a new search. This results in duplication of effort and wasted time. Adding this back in would make the product much more user friendly.
- People are often not located where Zoominfo says they are located (such as listing a person in Switzerland when they are actually in Chicago).
- Good way to quickly identify and reach out to prospective candidates. At times, a mass email has been very effective in this.
- LinkedIn and ONESOURCE
LinkedIn is more accurate but requires more effort. OneSsource info is more accurate when it comes to size and description of a company (Zoominfo is weak on both of these), but the names are far less accurate, and they rarely if ever provide an email address.
