Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

Zoominfo is typically used by certain members of our Sales team to uncover Decision Makers and their contact information. This product allows us to have more information on a potential customers decision makers before pursuing them for their transportation needs. It is also beneficial to see what kind of revenue they are bringing in on a yearly basis. Typically there is a direct correlation between the amount of revenue that a company brings in and their transportation/logistics spend.

Pros

  • Zoominfo allows you to use many different filters to uncover the people that you need to talk to. Job description, location, industry type, etc.
  • Zoominfo is a great resource to find out what kind of industry types are in a certain market or area.

Cons

  • Zoominfo needs to come out with a mobile app. I am on the road 90% of my work week and I don't always have access to my computer to get information from this database that would be beneficial.
  • When searching for a company if you don't have the exact spelling or legal name for a company it can be difficult to find what you are looking for. If there was a way to have a more vague search option it might prove useful.
  • Zoominfo has had a very positive impact on employee efficiency, lead conversion, and time to reach the correct decision maker. If you have a mid to large scale company it is well worth considering.
The data that Zoominfo provides can be a little spotty at times, but pays off more times than not. It has many unique features that I have not seen in any other similar service.
It is well suited for a company that is actively searching for new business where contact information for the sought after customer type is not readily available. Zoominfo helps create more warm type calls instead of cold. It would be less appropriate for a user that is not on a computer all day long.
