Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

As an organization, ZoomInfo is used across our membership development department and addresses some of our most crucial issues. Some of these include identifying prospects, markets, organizations and helping us locate them as well. I know that personally, I wouldn't be able to as accurately and timely complete my day to day without ZoomInfo.
  • Helping identify executive locations and email addresses
  • Identifying revenue of organizations
  • It can be a bit tricky sometimes when you can't locate someone, so you have to go into their company and then search by contact name.
  • Emails aren't always provided.
  • Definitely increased employee efficiency on my end.

I think in terms of quality and depth of the data when comparing the two, ZoomInfo is more in-depth and I feel like it is more accurate than Capital IQ. I don't get the feeling that Capital IQ is updated and refreshed nearly as much as ZoomInfo is, which is primarily why I lean on it more. I tend to lean more on Capital IQ when I'm looking for industry information and looking for financials.
I think for any company that is looking to identify prospects or leads, ZoomInfo would be a great tool. Further, if you are looking to validate that prospect or lead, it's a great way to centrally capture all of that contact's information if it has been provided. It's typically where I turn if I need assistance, so I can't think of any scenarios where it's less appropriate.
