Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo Sales

I didn't give it a 10 only because there are plenty of things I know it can do, just don't know how to yet. I'd like to see more hands on teaching or a manual to follow while walking through steps to achieve certain outcomes. This way you can follow the manual and see exactly when,how,why to navigate one way or the other. You know, ZoomInfo for dummies.
My use of ZoomInfo is typically to obtain or verify contact info and to check businesses that have been on our website. The information ZoomInfo is obtaining is endless and is and will be a great asset in truly identifying potential customers through buying signals and site visits. As ZoomInfo grows this info becomes more targeted and addresses many issues of helpless prospecting. Not too far, I'm sure it will be able to pinpoint the person(s) that are truly the target audience. It already helps to identify others outside of what we have internally to broaden our chances and/or identify new contacts.

Pros

Cons

  • Updating contacts or purging old
  • Identifying the true buying group for OUR specific products
  • when merging into SF, merging all the contact info
  • maybe my lack of knowledge but a quick way to funnel relevant businesses in specific territory
  • providing another email other than what I have developed myself. It gets a little tricky as it uses some phrases that can get you in trouble. MUST proof.
  • As a newer user, I can see endless possibilities but basic uses for myself have been in outreach prospecting in getting tricky emails and direct contact # avoiding the "gatekeeper" or lengthy wait times in a cue.
  • It getting direct contact phone # it has brought the company to light to a buyer where we were once in the dark. Multiple outreach and outcomes will happen.
  • More contact outreach touches /day.
As a newer user and my use of ZoomInfo so far, I have gained more effective contacts with companies that we've missed in the past. I've added many contact and updated many as well to produce good conversations with the people I'm trying to reach. I'm certain the info that ZoomInfo keeps compiling will serve well in honing true buyers through both large and small companies that are current and prospective buyers. It is exciting what AI brings through ZoomInfo but scary in the same time. But it's where it is going so get on board.

Yes

Providing and verifying contact info. as in phone # or email. I use daily. Also to verify new roles when previous contact is no longer there. One thing I'd like to see it be able to do better and maybe I haven't seen it, is to group contacts in large companies that are in many states or regions together. Easily provide that funnel to pertinent states or regions where territories are handled by different reps and you're not wasting time deciphering if it is a good contact for you or not.

Using ZoomInfo Sales

10 - Anyone who is wanting to grow a territory and knows where the future is headed with AI and support from an AI platform.

  • Broadening prospects by using like companies offered through ZoomInfo

  • honing in on the true decision makers
  • identifying leads / prospects in certain territory
  • providing great template emails to poke the customer
I'm not the contact. But I see it is where things are moving and if you don't have the information ZoomInfo gathers and continues to be more honed in on our customer or prospective customers, we will lose any advantages we once had and will be left behind.

Evaluating ZoomInfo Sales and Competitors

Yes - We were using construct connect to identify leads, ZoomInfo offers so much more. Constructconnect identified upcoming projects and maybe a few contacts, but offered no insight of the company nor projects that fell outside of their reach. ZoomInfo offers company insight, that they visited the sight, what the company plans in growth and so much more.

Not my scope. But I'm glad they did choose ZoomInfo as it has the most upside than other platforms. Nice it plays well with Salesforce as well.

ZoomInfo Sales Implementation

There would have nice while providing a great platform to use, to have an in person class to show how it would best serve us and to navigate. Nothing was provided to myself outside of having a sign on and the preloaded steps to get through basic processes.

ZoomInfo Sales Support

My support has only been in the form of submitting corrected info on contacts.

Not my scope. My ratings on previous are only from my current experience in getting updated info like customer email addresses or phone # info. I submit and yet to have an update from ZoomInfo stating it corrected or found info.
