Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo Sales

You can use it however is most effective for you. The web application is great, but I honestly find myself using the chrome extension more. That way I can be looking at a specific contact in Salesforce, or on Linkedin, click on the extension, and it will bring up a side bar that shows me the information on that specific contact. It's great.
We use ZoomInfo to help us find and identify prospects at our target accounts, and provides the contact information for them. It saves us a bunch of time having to go through company directories, or searching through the internet to try to find the right contact information for our key contacts.

Pros

  • I really like the chrome extension which makes it really easy to pull up a contact's information from any page.
  • It connects well with Linkedin Salesnav and Salesforce, which makes it quicker to pull in their contact information into the CRM.
  • They do a good job with company info too. It makes it so I can quickly get a sense for what the company does, how many employees there are, and a rough estimate of annual revenue numbers.

Cons

  • Sometimes their data is a little delayed. Like they might not have a new direct line or updated email to the contact when they switched jobs in the last couple of months.
  • It would be great if for companies that have a call tree with extension numbers, they could get those extensions as well.
  • Sometimes the revenue numbers are not accurate, but they are directionally accurate.
  • It can definitely improve sales pipeline because it makes it easier to set meetings and initiate conversations.
  • It definitely enhances seller productivity because less time is spent in tedious research, when you can get a lot of the data in one place.
I'd say It has positively impacted my effectiveness. It helps me speed up the time from finding a prospect to actually getting in touch with them. On top of that it notifies me of which specific phone numbers or emails for somebody that have a higher likelihood to respond on.

It's great for finding contact information and pulling the data in to my CRM. It makes my research so much faster so that I can find and reach out to the right people so that I can initiate sales conversations. It also makes it easy for me to get a quick grasp of what an organization does so that I don't have to read through their about page on their website. Overall it just speeds up the research side of prospecting.
