(1-25 of 56)Best Survey Tool
- Building survey questions
- Many options to distribute the survey
- Analyzing the survey result
- Building the survey could be easier when moving questions
- Putting the questions in specific order takes some time, it can be easier in other softwares
Only 2 devices per account?!
- Recipients don't have any complaints
- Number of devices is incredibly limited
[In My Opinion, I Think They're] Frauds - [I believe You Should] Be Careful [of] the Renewal Conditions
- Building a question
- [I believe that the] renewal conditions [could be done differently].
- [I think that the] survey functionality beyond the questions [is] archaic and dysfunctional.
- [In my opinion, the] graphs are rudimentary and are not usable when presenting results.
And the SurveyMonkey says........
- Employee Engagement
- Customer Feedback
- Easy to set up
- Training feedback
- subscription cost
- Social engagement
- Data analysis
Super Easy Survey Creation
- User friendly interface
- Good options for customizability in terms of questions format and logic
- Decent branding and design options
- Good interface for tracking, notifying survey participants, and analysis
- More design customizability would be nice
SurveyMonkey, easy and fun enough for a monkey.
The surveys are both easy and fun to build on SurveyMonkey. With simple 1 to 10 scale question, multiple choice, short answers, and more the process of building a survey is very fluid. This translates well for a product that any type of individual without computer experience could easily compete.
- Quick surveys
- Detailed feedback
- Engaging
- Easy
- Fun
- Entertaining
- Data
- Information
- Better marketing to consumers
- Custom URL's
- Consumer login to see their surveys
While you can get a sense of a Net Promoter score based on 1 to 10 responses , I wouldn't recommend this being used to rank a company.
SurveyMonkey - simple and user-friendly
- User-friendly
- Good at gathering feedback
- Lots of templates
- Not as robust as other survey programs
- Need to pay for premium subscription to access advanced features
- Doesn't integrate as well as other survey programs
SurveyMonkey Review
- It's easy to use. The process of writing, editing, and formatting surveys is extremely fun.
- It allows for easy mailing out of questionnaires to respondents through either links or direct mailing. It can manage products for you.
- It makes analysis of results amazingly easy and creates appealing graphics.
- My biggest problem is customer service. I made an error. I purchased an expensive option - cross tabs - at $900 and realized (too late) that I didn't need it. When I tried to get my money back and "return" the product, I was greeted with no sympathy. They said, "You signed the agreement."
Easy to use software to build surveys, quizzes, internal 360 reviews, and much much more!!
- SurveyMonkey templates have made it very user-friendly. It is very efficient to create a survey.
- I love that they have multiple ways to answer questions. For example, short answer, paragraph, and radio buttons to name a few.
- The surveys are very easy to share. You can import a large list of email addresses or free type just a few.
- I like that you can test the survey before sending it out live. I send it to myself to verify how it will look and feel to the end-user.
- I would like to have more customizable options for branding it to our hospital colors. Some survey options allow you to enter html color codes. SurveyMonkey allows you to change colors and you have to pick from selected options.
- Embedding the surveys into a webpage, like WordPress is not as seamless as other services.
Survey says.... Totally disappointed
- Easy to set up survey questions
- More and more features are moving to paid functionality
Beautiful and modern survey forms
- The ability to easily create an online survey without worrying about technical issues.
- Possibility to send a link to the survey form via email.
- Modern style and design for survey forms.
- In some cases, the link to the survey form is very long.
Easy data collection and data review!
- Easy to build surveys
- Simple to navigate as a user taking a survey
- Easy to read data collection
- A little more flexibility in reviewing data points
- More customization options are always a plus
Global leader in online survey projects
- A wide question bank that offers customization questions of different types such as market research, customer satisfaction, employee feedback, demographics etc.
- The surveys can be customized to match our brand by adding the company logo, company name and images.
- One handy URL to collect responses from millions of respondents.
- More options to customize the look of the surveys for a full custom branding
- They should be able to offer live support within their site for faster communication with users.
A must-have tool for research
- Great template options
- Responsive and great user interface
- Data display
- A monthly subscription requires a minimum of three users at $25 per user. As I already said that this is not an everyday tool, it turns out to be a very expensive tool.
- The basic plan is limited to 10 questions.
- The collected data dashboards are not as beautiful as they could be.
SurveyMonkey excellent for staff feedback
- very easy to set up a survey
- helpful templates
- easy modules to gather feedback and export to excel
- support is mostly zen desk which stinks
- limited electronic resources
Once you try SurveyMonkey, you'll be hooked
- Customer service feedback
- Employee feedback
- Product feature assessment
- Analytics management
- Intuitive survey-building interface with many possible question types
- Allows to pay for targeted survey respondents if you don't have audience already
- Multiple methods for distributing services, makes easy to disseminate
- Not enough on the design-customization side to fully brand surveys in the way you'd always want to
- Pricing models are not always well-fitted to business needs or company size
- Customer service can be subpar
Can't Go Wrong!
- Variety of questions
- Data analysis
- Easy to Use
- Have to upgrade for certain questions.
- Not very collaborative.
- Hard to access results later, especially with a different membership.
- Reminders: anyone who didn't answer the survey can be sent a reminder
- Simple web interface requires no training to use
- Pricing policies are unreasonable and unaffordable; as the CEO, I want to allow my assistant to use my account to send surveys, but this is prohibited and prevented technically
- Customer service was unhelpful in addressing my issues
For us, as a small business, SurveyMonkey was a bad solution. For years, I had been a happy customer, but a recent "Device Verification" feature was introduced as a way to prevent my use case. As the CEO, I allowed my assistant to use my account to send surveys. After the "Device Verification", this was not possible, and the solution proposed by the customer service team was to buy a plan that was +200% more expensive. This made it unaffordable and I did not appreciate a sudden change in product functionality that was clearly just a coercion mechanism to drive upsells.
Great for those new to market research
- It's very cost-effective.
- It's very intuitive.
- Very robust with features like data analysis, skip logic, etc.
- More complex questions are a bit of a challenge to format in the software.
- While it does have a ton of free features - It would be nice if they could add a few of the premium (paid) features to the free version.
- The fact that their logo appears on the survey is a bit disconcerting, but I think many folks have come to accept this.
- Reasonably easy to setup a survey with answers provided using various mechanisms
- Good reporting on survey results
- Deceptive business practices
- "Free basic" version is promoted on site but details on limitations difficult to find
- Very expensive and not suitable for the likes of a community sports club wanting to do a one off survey of members.
SurveyMonkey may be suited to larger corporations who frequently produce surveys, however there are many other accessible and competing options available these days that make a dedicated survey site like SurveyMonkey far less relevant.
If you are thinking of using the free service, think twice. Using the free version you will find you can create your survey with all sorts of components, but then having invested the time, when you go to publish it you will be met with a payment request for the "premium" features you have used in your form. Once you manage to publish a form with only free features, you will then be solicited for paid enhancements for result analysis. Next you will find that your survey has a limit of 40 responses, and any extra results will be withheld unless you upgrade to a paid plan (which is billed annually), or you can pay an exorbitant amount for a 1 month membership. Our club would have been happy to pay a small fee for our one off, small survey, but Survey Monkey does not appear to be interested in this market space with their current structure. I also take issue with their deceptive approach to their "free" offering and will now avoid them in my professional capacity as well.
After surveying the field, SurveyMonkey is the best
- Easy to use functionality
- Diverse audience panels
- Quick survey results
- More offerings in targeting
- Easier external reporting function
- More question flexibility
- It is fairly affordable with respect to the features it offers.
- I can create as many survey quantities as I want without limitations.
- It also provides a wide variety of tools to configure and customize forms, with several languages available, predesigned templates and different text formats that make the experience more comfortable.
- It has a limitation in the integrations of applications.
- It needs a more interactive interface, its structure is somewhat boring.
- The file formats that can be added to surveys are few.
Avoid SurveyMonkey, deceptive practices, confusing, contradictory and poor customer service.
- Creating Surveys that are clear and simple.
- Presenting results.
- Simple links for customers to use.
- Poor billing and membership plan description.
- Deceptive business practices, charging for services not used.
- Customer service providing confused and contradictory responses.
- Ignoring customers when they don't like the situation.
- Don't follow requests to turn off auto billing.
- Dispute EU customer law, even when their own site states it correctly.
- Website is deliberately difficult to navigate around billing/accounts and pricing.
SurveyMonkey? I don't see why not
- It does a great job by tailoring what you use it for, whether it's in college to do a survey for a project, see what the team wants to do for activities in the workplace, or even propose a new change to the company and get an idea of how people will react to this.
- I love that the answers provided by the users remain anonymous, this allows you to get an accurate answer.
- SurveyMonkey can be used in so many ways and I think so many people can use it for a variety of reasons, it'd be interesting to see how else they can grow into a new space.
- When waiting for results, since it is anonymous it doesn't tell you who has not completed the survey. If there was a way for it to constantly be in your inbox to prompt the person to complete it quickly, that'd be great.
- We have used SurveyMonkey to play superlatives in the office. For example, you can ask any question and then throw the names of your work colleagues as the options and then everyone will have to pick who they think fits that superlative. This makes for lots of fun!
- We use it when deciding what type of activity our team would like to do at work outings.
- I've also used it in the past for miscellaneous college projects.
