Our project manager uses it as the hub of all communications, project tracking, and timesheets. From big go-to-markets to small turnarounds projects, it can flex to all needs. It needs a steady hand to manage it, but it is a powerful tool that works for our day-to-day work. It's not the most intuitive for all users, but its power once set up is immense.
  • Project management
  • Resource management
  • Charts
  • Timesheets are difficult to use
  • Not the most beautiful tool, very utilitarian
  • All views look similar
Wrike works well for dispersed team with a wide range of project needs (from quick to long-turn projects). If you have work that can easily slip through the cracks, Wrike can help you manage and track all projects. If you have repetitive or simple workstreams, it may be too much tool for your needs.

I mainly use Wrike to track my tasks across my team. As we are a company that has a lot of virtual teammates we have to make sure to keep everything documented as there are a lot of orders/tasks that have to be tracked. Also something we find really useful is the request form that is redirected to the correct area of the company for a fast response.
  • Order/Task tracking
  • Team communication
  • Documentation of orders
  • File organizer/storage
  • There is an extreme need for automation such as the one that has other companies like monday.com
  • Tracking of completed tasks
  • Ease of changing task info in the board view without clicking on the task
I like it and I think it is really useful and excels as order/task tracker which you can share with your team and make sure they are aware of what everyone is working on. But at the same time I think automatization is lacking. it would be cool to be able to create scheduled actions so that you can make sure you are always keeping track of periodic tasks or even to create automatic actions to make it faster.

We used Wrike as an efficiency tool in an advertising agency. It helped organize feedback from a multitude of stakeholders by task, which was previously disorganized and distributed via a combination of email and Slack. It also helps enforce a more formalized process for kicking off jobs, by requiring certain intakes.
  • Organize feedback
  • Enforce process
  • Share files
  • Integration - team had hard time with moving away from Slack (can you make an integration? Or maybe there is and we didn’t know?) Getting emails that take you to a new workspace also made a lot of extra “noise”
Wrike is an amazing tool for process control and versioning clarity. We are a smaller business (under 50 people); our assessment is that this is best suited for larger organizations, where volume of tasks and make project knowledge more difficult to communicate and manage. The customizability is great, and customer service is top-notch.

I work as head of web development in a very diverse company that aim to deliver full service to clients who pretty much needs an entire marketing department. As I specialize in the web department our needs align very much with what Wrike offers. Besides from general kanban boards, dashboards, gantt charts, we have also set up multiple request forms, automated tasks, reminders and are using Wrike for both resource planning and budget tracking. What we really find strength in Wrike is how much it has helped us keep track of tasks, history and progress. My question is usually "Is there a Wrike?", and also encourage my own team with the following, to make their time tracking easier by saying "Don't work on it, unless there's a Wrike about it". It's quite rigid, and we're not always able to pull through with it, but it has increased our billable and efficiency by quite a lot.
  • Resource management
  • Backlog and progress management
  • Task management
  • Project status and management
  • Overviews
  • The date filtering really needs a work over, which I have also been mentioning in the community forums
  • There should be more customization features that is based on template tags, e.g. in terms of request forms, naming conventions etc. today it's too hard to build the structure that would be suitable for us, this also goes for automation tasks
  • The features surrounding tasks should be better suited towards smaller tasks that isn't 1d, as the gantt charts tend to behave quite weirdly whenever we move tasks that are e.g. 3 hours with a depenent task
From experience Wrike seems to be a very customizable system, but also from experience I do notice that some teams in our organization use Wrike less, as in terms that they are not quite aware of the options in Wrike. Because as I mentioned Wrike is very customizable, but it's also quite time consuming setting up these work flows and finding the methods that works for each specific team. So teams or organizations that do not or are not willing to put down the time to figure these things out might not be getting the full experience of Wrike.

But if you are willing to invest in this it will truly be a great win for the organization and everyone involved in the projects. The transparency that is available through Wrike is amazing in terms of how all members of a project are able to choose to be fully invested in a task or just stick to the bare minium of what they need to complete it.

We use Wrike as a tracking tool among various departments within the Company in a variety of ways. Some departments use it as a checklist, others as a full-fledged project management tool. It's also the way our IT department comments on the status of various projects instead of having notes spread out between email, chat, OneNote, etc.
  • Task Management
  • Gantt Chart
  • Due Dates/Notifications
  • Onboarding process was terrible: very unflexible
  • Sharepoint integration is not fully developed
We use it for project management but have just started loading in ongoing IT operational processes, as Wrike allows you to set up recurring tasks. There are some limitations to the recurring task features. It's great for using as a checklist where a manager might want to see the current status of a task or project without having to email their team.

In our organization, we have an onshore team in Sydney and remote teams across many different countries. Wrike makes it easy and convenient for our teams to collaborate and streamline workflows. We also use Wrike to send requests to our design team through customized forms. Within our marketing department, we have multiple teams so we have created dedicated folders for each and within them, we have boards for projects, campaigns, members, etc. It's quite complex and that is the best part about Wrike. It allows us to run a complex system smoothly.
  • Assigning projects
  • Creating recurring tasks
  • Tracking projects
  • Setting deadlines
  • Creating briefs and getting approvals
  • Clean UI and dashboard
  • The search feature is a bit complex
  • We can have more filters in notifications
  • A way to set default views rather than having to manually change it for every space, project, etc.
Wrike is well-suited for large teams or organizations where tracking multiple projects, shared calendars, and collaboration between many people is required. It could be too complex for smaller teams and the features might be overwhelming. Marketing teams would especially benefit from switching to Wrike because they're always working with departments across the organization so tracking and monitoring requests would become very efficient.

We use Wrike as a tool to track the life of creative work through our agency. From job initiation, building timelines, tracking hours and dedicating resources, it allows us to manage, bill and report with one tool. We use the dashboard feature to track the status of jobs in an effective way based on the different roles in our agency. We are able to build robust timelines that are as flexible and automated as we need them to be.
  • Wrike allows users to customize a personal dashboard and to do list!
  • Wrike is highly customizable and can work to fit your needs for different use cases. Each of our teams works a bit differently and Wrike delivers.
  • Wrike is there to help and answer questions right in the application. They are there to help address any questions or concerns that may arise.
  • I'd love to see the ability to duplicate an entire job timeline at the project level vs. the task level. This would be helpful when different related projects will follow the same steps but may deviate in timing.
  • I'd love to see the resource tab allow you to clear resources without manually driving the job title back on as a tile. And also delete roles that will not be needed entirely job to job.
  • I'd love to be able to move a comment that has been submitted in a route without needing to delete it and add it again.
Wrike has proven to be a great tool for our agency work. It is utilized and functional in a way that meets our needs and follows the scope of our work. When there are clear paths and workflows, Wrike shines. In some use cases where a job would appear in multiple folders, the rules applied to each folder, in terms of blueprint and automations, can confound each other and cause issue. This is only the case on highly complex projects that live in more than one folder or space.

At Globant, we utilize Wrike as our primary project management tool. Wrike helps streamline our workflows by providing a centralized platform for task management, collaboration, and progress tracking. It addresses business problems related to inefficient communication, project delays, and task prioritization. Our use case encompasses project planning, task assignment, milestone tracking, and performance analysis. Wrike enables us to maintain transparency across teams, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Overall, Wrike enhances productivity, fosters collaboration, and facilitates project management at every stage of development.
  • Task management
  • Collaboration
  • Customization
  • to change the stage of certain prices should be more Easier to just click on a button than drag boxes on the screen
  • Sometimes as it is a share environment there are too many files and makes not that easy to find projects that you may be working on
So we are intend to along with other departments as sales an business intelligence to organize way to reach out as many leads as possible to try get business into our pockets and Wrike is a tool that helps to lay out the whole process for everybody and we all have just in time info! That’s very beneficial and helps to streamline the process

We use it in order to create different projects that are handled by various teams, all the essential information are stored there and on top of that we log how much time was needed for each task.
It's very convenient. We also have dedicated boards per team, which facilitates the smooth flow of simultaneous/multiple different projects.
  • Logging time
  • Monitoring the progress of a task
  • Showing the people involved on each task
  • Communication across teams
  • In some instances, it has lags, e.g. when you try to assign people on one task
  • It's difficult to detect a task when the assignees are removed
  • The fact that it shows the deactivated users, when you're trying to tag a name starting with specific letters as the deactivated users
In cases that a company works in multiple projects, and has various different teams working on them.
It also helps in monitoring how much time is needed per task, so that you better understand your workforce needs as well as to monitor the performance of each employee

Our organization uses Wrike as our primary source for project management, task assignment, time management, and collaboration between departments within the global Employer Branding team. Regarding the business problems related to Marketing-Employer Branding that Wrike helps us address, I would highlight the following: - Planning and executing marketing campaigns. - Planned and executed employer branding events. - Managing social media content. - Task assignation within the team and tracking the workload so we ensure a balance among the team members.
  • Task assignation.
  • Tracking workload.
  • Connecting tasks within departments.
  • Setting clear deadlines.
  • Synchronisation with Office calendar.
  • Improving the notifications system.
  • Having a more clear task history.
In my personal experience, Wrike is an outstanding organizational tool, especially for globally distributed teams. However, due to its focus on internal organization, I would see it as less appropriate for presenting a project brief or case to other teams or externally.

Wrike is used in our team to keep track of activities or tasks, for instance, campaigns to be launched, we divide the process into stages, like a list of leads creation, template creation, and launching .. so we keep track of the process on Wrike. Also, we use it to have info updated for our management team, for instance, we keep track of the accounts that we are currently targeting.
  • keep track of activities
  • keep managing the roles that interact in every task
  • is well organized
  • is easy to work on
  • when a task is complete, a button to click should help to advance that task to the next stage.
  • I see several files on the left and sometimes is not that easy find the project I need, but maybe is a matter of my company
Wrike is good when you are in a team where many people are involved in the realization of a project and each person need to get things done in order to advance the process and keep everybody notices just in time and keep the work flow right so for that wrike would be very good.

Wrike is used by our entire company, across leisure and corporate brands. I lead the global design team, and we use Wrike to manage workflow and design requests briefed in by our global marketing team. Wrike helps us effectively manage workflow and keep on top of large projects and campaigns, as a manager it gives me the visibility I need to assign tasks based on capacity, the reports are also a great way to view total tasks completed per month.
  • Workflow management
  • Everything contained in one task / ticket - brief, proofs, approval
  • Reporting
  • Automate certain things like mandatory fields from parent task should automatically populate sub tasks - currently has to be done manually, which is very time consuming if one main campaign (task) has a long list of sub tasks
  • The autobot reminders are annoying, it's a constant interruption, feels like being spammed
Well suited for all tasks, from BAU / once-off design requests to large-scale campaigns and projects.
Can't think of any where it's less appropriate

The use of Wrike was company-wide; Wrike served as the unified platform for all teams, from marketing to finance. As a company with over 3,000 employees, all our processes and projects were managed and organized within Wrike. Personally, in my role, Wrike was heavily utilized for organizing designers' agendas and project management. However, within the system, all teams were able to be served and had their workflow facilitated by Wrike. An extremely positive aspect of the tool is that you can access tasks and requests from other teams. In my previous company, this wasn't possible cause each team used a different platform and tool to control and keep up with their demands, so other teams didn't have free access to it. With Wrike, teams can collaborate on each other's projects without having the trouble of changing systems, it's rare to find a platform structure that can be suitable for all departments like Wrike is.
  • Easy usability
  • Possibility of tagging everybody in tasks
  • Very good and visual system of comments
  • Easy to set a task/request
  • Suitable for all departments
  • Organization of folders
  • System of notifications
  • Search feature
  • Tasks filters
Wrike is a great tool for unifying all areas of a company and facilitating communication between different teams. It streamlines workflows and consolidates all work and project information in one place. For project management, the creation of tasks and requests works very well, and the approval process for tasks is also efficient and user-friendly. In my experience, Wrike was one of the easiest tools I've worked with, making my life a little easier by providing one platform for the entire company instead of multiple disjointed tools. However, organizing folders and tasks might be a bit challenging for those who are not as focused on organization. After a few weeks or months when a task is no longer in use, it can be very difficult to find it. The task filters and search functionality could definitely be improved.

Our organization primarily uses Wrike as a project management tool to streamline our Marketing workflows, collaborate on tasks, and track progress across various teams and projects. It helps us manage projects from initiation to completion by providing a centralized platform where team members can create, assign, and track tasks. This ensures that everyone is on the same page and deadlines are met.
  • Project Management
  • Collaboration
  • Task Tracking
  • it could be more intuitive and user-friendly
  • improving integration with other commonly used software applications
  • more intuitive reporting and analytics capabilities
We use it for Marketing Project Management and it's well suited for collaborative works and gain visibility over the status of the projects. Wrike also allows us to track the progress of tasks and projects in real-time. Not so suitable for time tracking, including the ability to generate more detailed time reports, would help us better manage our resources and budget our projects.

We used Wrike for project coordination but found it lacking. While it purports to offer systematic planning and task management, the platform was often cumbersome, with task requesting and receiving more convoluted than streamlined. Despite its intent to simplify project management, it sometimes added layers of complexity, leading to communication snags within teams and delays in addressing project elements. The interface, rather than clarifying, sometimes muddled priorities, and the monitoring of deadlines occasionally fell short of expectations, detracting from overall productivity and effectiveness.
  • Creation and set up of request
  • Tracking all the tasks
  • Problems with sprint planning
  • Long time of loading
  • Bothering offers to use application
We've recently transitioned to using Jira for our project management needs, especially for data analytics projects, and it has proven to be a much more fitting tool compared to Wrike. With Jira, our workflow is more streamlined, and the integration with a Confluence page enhances our documentation and collaboration capabilities. This shift has facilitated better task tracking, reporting, and overall project visibility, enabling our team to stay aligned and focused on delivering results efficiently. The suite of tools available with Jira aligns well with our project requirements and has markedly improved our project management processes.

We use it to organize our workflow between different areas in the Brand team (marketing, employer brand, design, digital properties, SEO, Content, etc). We produce all campaigns, assets and content using Wrike, with each team following their own workflow and then interacting with other teams via assigning task cards to them and following up.
  • the ability to interact with different teams and workflows but still keep your own space organized and separate
  • a good inbox that allows you to pay attention to the issues without having to look at all your cards to find out what's new
  • the ability to customize the templates and fields
  • it has something of a learning curve. It could use more AI assistance
  • I'd like to see easier ways to collaborate between teams
  • the follow-up/reminders could be rethought
I'd say it's great for big teams. Organizations with smaller teams may be inclined to use Trello or Notion instead because of lower costs and more intuitive interfaces. But the depth of things you can do with Wrike are great and most suited for complex organizations. The reports feature is also very robust.

I use Wrike to manage print and digital PR content projects for multiple brands. Wrike makes the tracking of the status of the projects really easy and also makes working with multidisciplinary teams in a same project a very straightforward process. With Wrike it's easy to manage more than 15 projects in parallel without making mistakes.
  • Keep the track of the different versions of a file.
  • Let partners know when there is an update available for review.
  • Really easy to add comments and mark ups to a file.
  • Improve the search function.
  • Improve the time that take for attached documents to open
  • Some times the notification system fails.
It works great to manage fast paced projects in Marketing agencies for example. Also works great when you need to have multiple teams working on the same task at the same time. You can break up the job in multiple subtasks and put different deadlines for each. Also makes the revision process really easy.

I have used Wrike since 2018 in different positions and different projects. I believe it's the easiest PM SW and easy to learn and implement in a global organization. The new features I like also the Kanban is perfect to drive projects and check status on a quick way! Its also great to be able to she invite customer to give updates and timing.
  • Visualisation
  • Easy to use
  • Time management
  • Integration to SharePoint
We are a global organization with multiple PM teams this works great.
Its worked well to start and also to get the team up to speed. But I would like Wrike to be a support longer during the startup phase.
Its a lot of tips and tricks on YouTube but to have the team do that is not easy.

We use Wrike to manage our entire content production, from courses to visual assets. Wrike is useful because we can have different overviews of the production, with specific data, or a custom dashboard with planned efforts for each person. The best thing is that everything can be connected and used however you prefer.
  • Plan and organise projects with a big team.
  • Add details and levels to any task, no matter the size of it.
  • Connect different part of production, from costs to people.
  • Speed: the software is so complex that for simple things is not ideal.
  • Customization: some teams have different needs for detail, and they could have different features for the same products.
I would highly recommend Wrike to a friend who needs production planning with a big team. Wrike does that very well. What I don't find useful is that when you have a more simplified scope, you still have too many fields and layers to go through, which makes it unproductive in some cases.

I use Wrike to log the workspace tickets that I complete for my organization. Wrike helps me to keep track of the work that I complete. I am able to create a very easy-to-follow list of the work that has been completed. I love that the Wrike features that I use are free.
  • Editing of tasks
  • List creation
  • Selection of days spent on tasks
  • Easy to print lists
  • I would like for Wrike to offer more guidance on how to use its features.
  • I would like for Wrike to have a more noticeable way to print lists.
I really like the features of the free version of Wrike. It covers all of my tracking and logging needs. I really like the look of my printed log. Wrike make it easy to share my logs with my coworkers. I also like the ability to pin my projects so that I can easily find the ones that I am currently working on.

We use Wrike to organize workflows. So business owners create inputs and then Wrike will assign automatically the team who needs to work on it. Also it will allow to create comments on the workflow, assign more people and keep track of the status of the project. Besides that you can create reports and customized views to don’t lose track of your projects/tasks
  • Standardized business inputs
  • Streamline workflows
  • Notify assigned people
  • Visibility in personal workspace
  • Creation of personal productivity (individual contribution vs team contribution)
  • It resets de starting date each time you want to change the expiration date
Well suite if you need to gather the same type of request from multiple business owners, generate reports of lead time and assign multiple people, even each subtask can be a world on its own.
No so well if you want to keep track of projects where you are the only one working on it or if other people doesn’t have access to the tool

We use Wrike to organize ous jobs, adjust our week workflow and register our daily timesheet. Or to organize the briefings and workflow to another companies. The company uses to group and read the data about every task and person, the time/quality of our tasks, and organize the teams moving to another groups that needs help.
  • The Kanban methodology
  • A lot of forms to view the tasks
  • Easy collaboration with another teams
  • Mark only a few hours in the work schedule and not an entire day
  • Possibility to group some cards on backlog column based on months
  • Create a folder on columns to organize some demands
It's a great platform, with a lot of commands and possibilities, it helps a lot to organize and see the workflow, but some manual features make the jobs being expired, because some coworkers aren't able to organize themselves.
And sometimes it's difficult to follow some restrict uses because the company rules, they have their own organization and marks to follow.

I use Wrike to manage virtual event preparation and production, to track project status across a number of operations, and to ensure other employees are fulfilling their tasks. Wrike allows me to easily manage events that are supported by a number of staff and AmeriCorps VISTA members without needing to individually check in on the status of each event; I can easily go to the event folder or project and see the status. It also helps us to standardize practices across our different programs and departments, as we create templates that are then duplicated for each event or project.
  • Customization of task titles, blueprints, and task status
  • Integrations with Box and Outlook and the ability to email tasks and folders
  • Ability to view task lists in a number of different ways (by date, by title, by active status)
  • Accessibility. It is near unusable for any user that employs a screen reader or other assistive technology. Wrike's inaccessible nature is the biggest reason we are considering a switch to a different project, despite being overall happy with its features.
  • Ability to duplicate tasks and keep subtasks attached to the duplicated task
Wrike is great for laying out tasks and folders to create SOPs; we have used it with great success to standardize the way we prepare and plan for virtual and in-person events across a variety of departments and programs. It is also great for supervising employees and checking in on task statuses in one central place. And it functions well for the basic use of daily, weekly, and monthly task lists. Wrike is terrible if you have employees who use assistive technology. It is very clear that accessibility is not a priority for its developers - you can find requests for improved accessibility in the support forums dating back years, almost none of which have been resolved - and that impacts our operations, as not being able to have all staff use the same project management platform causes confusion in our processes.

We used Write in Leica Biosystems as a project management tool, especially in the Digital team, where we have different projects with different team members. We have people in different teams that need to work together and track the progress of the projects. Therefore, Write is a great collaborative environment where we communicate, put the project updates, and use it as a repository of the files and assets from a specific project.
  • projects that can be linked to different folders.
  • Options in the task menu, such as priorities, subitems dependency.
  • View of the projects and dashboards
  • Spaces
  • At the beginning it takes time to get use to it, so the learning curve it is a bit long
  • Internal search - sometimes is difficult to find old task
  • Calendar
From my point of view Wrike is a great tool that can fit any team that needs to manage a project. For us it facilitates a lot our work and our team is very well informed about the project needs and updates. However, what we experience is that people that are not use to work with project management tool like commercial marketing team, they find it difficult and a bit overwhelming as it takes time to understand and manage.

We use Wrike to manage all our incoming requests for clients, to sort all our new projects amongst our team, and to keep track of all canceled websites. Another feature we use all the time is the comments and email feature which is included on the projects. This is a major help in keeping projects and all the tasks that come with a project in order.
  • Keep projects organized by assigning who is working on them
  • The email feature where you can email clients directly through the platform
  • The stages that you can assign a project to.
  • It is a tough learning curve and took me a few months to get the hang of it.
  • Make the "Search" feature easier to find. It took me forever to find it and my teammates ask me where it is located.
  • The overall look is busy. This is not a particularly big issue to me but a sleek and cleaner look would be cool!
If you have new projects coming in on a weekly basis this is a great product to keep your bearings. Things can get messy really quickly so the step by step processes you can create in a project and assign each one of those steps to a teammate is wonderful.
