Accenture People + Work Connect vs. Monster.com

Accenture People + Work Connect is a wonderful platform, no doubt, and is suitable when you are looking out for talent and hiring for open roles in the organizations and in specific regions. Accenture People + Work Connect helped us in identifying the right talent for the position in the region required. However, when compared to the other platforms for hiring there is a lot more that needs to be developed and updated.

Monster.com has a very vast database, and there is always the possibility of getting the profile for a particular region or for a specific skill set. It is easier to fetch the profile from mid to senior-level roles and use search all over the world, which means global search is less appropriate because it is costly for a third party or a small company.

• Monster.com is the best to find the talented resources. For an instance a company is looking for a software engineer, Monster.com can access resumes qualified candidates with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
• Monster.com has the best filter options that help employers to fetch the best resources.
• Monster.com excels in offering user-friendly recruitment platform that fulfill to the needs of employers in attracting, screening, and hiring top talent.

• UI could be a bit more clean.

• It would be nice if Monster could autofill resumes from applicants from information they provide once.
• Applicants complain about having to fill in all of the fields for their applications - even though they have submitted their resumes.
• As an applicant, it would be nice to have greater transparency and updates for when a submitted application is shared, opened, or reviewed. Otherwise there can be a sense of being "ghosted" after having applied and not hearing back.

With the use of Monster.com I can get my job done with the turn around time. The user interface is very good to use and anyone can use it at the first time. It has saved search features which is very useful for tracking. Mainly, it is useful for both job seekers as well as for the recruiters.

There are separate helplines for job seekers and employers. The response time is less compared to other customer support organizations that are out there. There are multiple offices in multiple locations so that it will improve the connectivity thereby helping the users in a better way possible. It provides a high standard of service and they also look into feedback seriously and work on it.

From my discussion with the management with regards to hiring and the portal used, I came to know that Google for Jobs was able to be considered earlier, but was rejected as there was lots of noise, multiple unwanted applications and the filtering process also took a while and wasted the time of the TA team.

I selected Monster.com for the complete package and very useful database. Find monster.com very easy to use, track the activity of the recruiter as well as of the candidate. Checking inventory remaining is very easy to find in Monster.com. The is the best database to get the qualified candidates in short period.

• Since we are able to close positions using Monster the reliability and trust factor has gone up with the clients that we deliver to.
• The hiring for vacancies has increased substantially and this is a good thing for the business as a whole.
