Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud vs. BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management

The services are easy to learn and manage. The support team is very competent and resolves my issues that come s up easily. As a business partner, they are proactive in offering solutions and help to improve what we are doing. They are always there for engineering solutions that we are not sure how to do.

It is an absolute must in all organizations where security is taken seriously. For organizations where there is a tendency among the users' end to abuse access privileges, this tool comes in handy. It has features that would enable the administrator to look through video logs to see what was done by a specific user. Also has the capability to terminate or lock users/ user sessions.

• Local backup to local encrypted and protected hard drives
• Cloud backups of files, folders, or entire machines
• Vulnerability assessment of systems
• Antivirus and content filtering
• Remote control of systems
• Integration with Connectwise and other RMM and MSP tools
• Replacement that's better than Dropbox or Google drive

• Reporting capabilities for user activities, including complete session recordings
• Integration with SAML for SSO and secure LDAP authentication
• Jump point servers for central isolated access from outside the network

• The website is pretty slow and will kick you off sometimes. I know they are working on this. For now, this is the biggest problem we have with Acronis.
• Their support team isn't great. It can take a while to get an issue resolved, although issues do not happen frequently.

They recently raised the pricing for backup usage and our price has nearly doubled. It is still lower than some other vendors, but we might review other options before renewing next year.

The platform is quite intuitive and centralizes many functions into a single console, which facilitates the daily management of all clients. However, some sections—such as the RMM, security audit reports, or the Awareness service—could be more comprehensive to enhance the overall experience. BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management is really usable thanks to the Cloud platform that provide central management, analytics, updates and policy definitions. For policies, quickstart covers around 80% of the overall configuration and we just have to define home made applications and dedicated use cases. From the user perspective, messages can be customized so it's easy to understand for user and they have an endpoint application to follow workflows approval.

Support has been helpful when we have had to reach out. We have not had to contact support that much so I do not have much feedback on them. I met the support team at the Cyber Summit and they are all very nice, smart individuals.

The product performed to the level of our requirements.

The in person training was great. Very informative and the trainer was great. I would highly recommend this option if you're hesitant. Any questions can then be directed to support. Support is great as well, and will definitely help answer any questions. I would definitely
recommend adding some type of training as it was very helpful for our
staff.

It was informative and very helpful. They provide a lot of courses that give you exactly what is needed to manage the product. Any questions can then be directed to support. I would definitely recommend adding some type of training as it was very helpful for our staff. The online training sufficed for us.

Price! All the services have low entry points and then hit you with big fees. Acronis Advanced Backup provides better management and control of your cost then the other services we evaluated. We have tested a number of solutions not on the list that have are price competitive, but the support was lacking.

BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management has more features than CyberArk and more detailed options for configurations. BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management is more focused on setting up access-related endpoints, which requires some fine tuning and understanding for use cases where a single endpoint has to be shared with multiple vendors. CyberArk's setup is more geared to users' accounts and then endpoint management under the user accounts.

It's very easy to deploy with minimal interruption.

• We have been able to further develop our customerbase and and more MSP as our partners
• Overall the recurring revenue coming from Acronis, will help us to increase revenue and margin, without investing in new hardware and save on energy-cost.
• It is time consuming to implement Acronis into our system and train our employees. With this there is also cost involved, but we believe in the long-term investements we make here.

• We are able to securely monitor activity from vendors accessing our network.
• This meets our cybersecurity objectives of securing our OT networks.
• The benefits far outweigh the initial cost of the software.
