Adobe Experience Platform vs. Azul Platform Core

The Adobe Experience Platform is well suited for companies that are maturing or have matured in their digital offerings and are looking for very sophisticated tools to elevate to the next level. It's also for well resourced teams, both financially and head count to take advantage of the deep functionality and integrations.

I would go for Azul Platform Core where someone needs secure JRE and JDK at a cheaper price where they can afford some CPU memory spikes. If you are highly concerned about the high availability of systems, or CPU memory usage, then, in my opinion, Azul Platform Core should be avoided. Also, considering what I believe to be their poor support, you might want to reconsider buying this subscription.

Overall I really like the Adobe Experience Cloud after a couple years of figuring out various tools. They are extremely powerful. The time commitment to learn them is high since it's not a tool you can easily begin using without much training.

Adobe has support at all levels and for each product but beyond tool questions you'll often be told they can help but it requires some paid consulting hours. So you either hire Adobe consultants or find 3rd part consultants who know their products well.

We have had plenty of contact previously with the Azul Platform Core's support team. They provided us with ways of debugging our JVM crashes and upload data to a provided FTP server where their support employees could assist by reviewing our special cases. The help they provided has been invaluable in optimizing our JVM.

• Cost savings compared to going with Oracle
• Since using Azul Platform Core our system has been much more stable with fewer crashes causing our team being able to focus on new features
