Mitratech TalentReef is a recruitment and talent management system optimized for service-sector workforces. It emphasizes its support for regulatory compliance, automated workflows, and mobile accessibility across its functions for recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
ADP VirtualEdge is undoubtedly the platform that any company needs to be able to keep an exact control of the candidates and the performance of each one of them. It is important to note that ADP VirtualEdge allows the monitoring of candidates and new employees, which makes it easier to know if the new employee is meeting the skills presented in the interview. This platform has a complete order for all the résumés received and provides complete management for the new applications of candidates for a specific position. I would recommend it without a doubt, it has quick benefits.

I rarely give 10/10, mainly because I have learned that that we can always learn new things and to grow. Thus, I feel that same applies to Talent Reef. While I struggled a bit in the beginning to use this application, It is probably that struggle that has made me a better user for being so persistent at using it. Now that I have more than just the basics I think for any size company the functionality of the program will work for them.

Previously, it was more difficult to store all the resumes that we received, since there were many candidates for the jobs that we had open in our company, however, ADP VirtualEdge gave me a better handling of resumes, the platform stores all the resumes in chronological order Resumes received and this makes it easier to read each of these.
I love the duplicate candidate prevention function, sometimes people make mistakes when applying for a job and this causes the application to be duplicated, this platform performs this process automatically and prevents duplicate applications, it is fantastic.
It has an excellent integration with my social networks, which helps me to be able to make publications of the available jobs and also allows me to see details in real-time of the applications that I have received from those publications in my social networks.
It provides me with a section where I can manage all the interviews. For me, it is one of the most important functions since I can have a much higher order for the interviews that I have scheduled.

We've been with talentReef nearly 2 years and our last 2 account managers have been great! Support was a concern right after we converted, but we were able to gain an account rep and began weekly calls until all the holes were plugged in.
Linking ATS data and onboarding data eliminates the need for the applicant/new hire to enter the same information twice.
We're now receiving system emails regarding upcoming new releases, which is helpful.
One of the things I don't like about ADP VirtualEdge is that it doesn't allow me to conduct interviews online. Many other platforms that I have used in the past allowed me to conduct interviews online without having to do it in person. With the current problems due to COVID-19, this has become a very important functionality that ADP VirtualEdge does not offer me, since online interviews would be an option to avoid physical contact.

If any organization is looking to use TalentReef, I would suggest they make sure they have a project lead. TalentReef is a customizable platform that can be used to help your business. Your business will only get the full use out of the program if someone from within leads the project and communicates what they need from TalentReef. TalentReef can provide the basic needs, but the true value comes when you customize the program.

ADP VirtualEdge is more specifically [for] applicant tracking and hiring whereas Workforce Now is more for human resources management. It is more specifically targeted to hiring instead of general management. It is also less supported and can take longer to get it help. Overall, it is comparable to other lower tier products.

TalentReef has a better interface than SnagAJob, but that is just about it. SnagAJob did a very good job in applicant flow, however, they also advertise for other companies during the application process which is a major downside to their system. Newton is far superior not only with pricing but in support and functionality. After only 60 days with the system, I could not imagine going back to TalentReef ever again.
We are able to hire more qualified people for each new job in our company. The quality of employees progressively improved as we hired people with better skills and better job ideas.
Ease of managing candidate resumes and applications, there was no need for a manual process to manage candidates.
Quick recruitment. Previously, it took us a long time to analyze and visualize the applications of new candidates. With ADP VirtualEdge we can have a faster recruitment thanks to the fact that this system automatically orders the candidates with the best skills.

The impact in terms of I-9's and E-Verify being completed accurately and quickly is immense. It is tough to put a price or ROI on avoiding any legal complications.
All of our corporate locations now "speak the same language" in terms of applicants and new hire on-boarding.
