Chose Amazon CloudSearch
I didn't investigate the best alternatives to CloudSearch, but did help with implementing this feature in our application. But from what i tested and used - Cloudsearch is very fast to get queries. Some negative points can be the time to implement this and some configurations …
We used to not like Guru that much because it just stored our company documents but now I miss it a little because I feel like I can't find things anymore.
Amazon Cloudsearch can be suitable for some queries that require fast data. For example, in our case, we used CloudSearch, in a tool called Global Search. That will search everything like names, emails and a lot of stuff in our application. If you want fast data and you have a simple query, Global Search isn't appropriate for you.
When I am interviewing candidates and they start asking specific questions that I dont know the answer to, I use Glean chat to quickly find answers. It helps save time because I can really quickly find the answers to anything. I think if leaders care about their employers, they would get Glean!
The AI Chat can definitely improve. I will ask it questions about our sales process and it should be referencing documents that I know are in our company Glean, but it will give me the wrong answer.
I give it a 5 because of the chat not giving accurate answers and also sometimes I will search for documents that I know used to be in Guru before we had it but now it is no longer in Glean
