Aventri vs. Eventleaf vs. Opendate

eTouches seems to be well positioned to serve those needing event registration for small groups up to large conventions. Events with multiple sessions are very well organized and allows the planners to monitor registration and attendance with ease. One issue we have run into is the ability to give a discount to a specific registrant who signs up a group of individuals. We continue to work for a solution to this.

When preparing for an event, having online registration is vital to planning. The online registration allows participants to learn about the event, determine their schedule and inform the host of their needs. For planning purposes, there are several helpful reports available through the Eventleaf Online app. This is a great tool if your organization will collect registrations for >50.

We migrated from another ticketing company and Prism. Opendate combined the best of both and the data we unlocked by those two systems has helped guide our marketing efforts and increased our revenue per show. We have excellent customization on the ticketing which helps us better understand the financials of each show. It's the first time our entire team (talent, marketing, production and finance) all are on one system that works for each of us. The product can improve in some of its more advanced functionality such as more robust permissioning and event-level customization

• Manages class size limits very well.
• Provides information for hotel booking and transfers so that all this information is in one record.
• Unlimited number of pages for the website is invaluable - we looked at other programs with only 4 pages for the website and that just isn't enough for our clients.

• Easy to use: I was a first time user and signing up was super easy.
• Intuitive: The progam flowed naturally; the order of the tabs and their contents made sense and led me through the process with ease.
• Comprehensive: While I only used the program to register folks for a fundraiser, it has other options which I will totally use down the road.

• Although the registration component is fully customizable, the website itself could be more customizable. It is pretty restrictive on what you can put where.
• The registration takes a little while to set up depending on how much information you need. It also doesn't allow for repeat fields which makes bringing multiple guests challenging.

• Seated shows could have additional functionality
• Additional permission options
• Single sign on

I had a few issues while onsite (over the weekend). The support information given to me was incorrect and I had a hard time tracking down how to get assistance while onsite (on a weekend). When you are onsite, issues are usually heightened and need an immediate response, and I didn't get that.

Great customer service. My colleague reached out for support midway through planning our event and they replied quickly with a thorough solution to our problem

We loved CVENT and DoubleDutch, but it was much easier to have all the modules we needed in one platform, which happened to be Aventri.

The EventLeaf website made me feel that their product/service was more about my event needs and less about hyping themselves. I found the timely and helpful support from EventLeaf wonderful. The team that presented the live demo were very helpful, answered what might have seemed like dumb questions from me (being new at this) with respect and helpfulness. The ability to customize pricing to the scope and needs of the event we were planning was great

The customer support we have received from Opendate is unmatched. We have multiple points of contact and when we make suggestions they are frequently implemented in quick order. The pricing is competitive and the flexibility we have in the product is great. Most importantly, rather than using 3 or 4 different systems our entire venue is ran out of Opendate

• The ability for long term goal creation based on the objectives evaluated post conference.

• Eventleaf cut the cost of event management software by nearly $2.5
• It has saved us countless hours on the phone with customer care--we spent 10 years with a big-brand event management company which equated to 100s of hours on the phone with customer service. I haven't had to contact customer service yet.
