Awardco vs. Outgage

Awardco has something for everyone. I have employees in a variety of age groups and some want to travel, some want a tangible item, and others feel like they don't really need/want anything so they choose a gift card so they can use it how and when they choose. Awardco allows that flexibility. Also, if the individual isn't ready to make a selection right away, they can save their points to use at a later time. If an individual would like to select an item larger than their award amount, they are not able to add dollars to their personal account, which may cause some frustration to an individual.

I think of Outgage more as a partner than a vendor. If you are just looking for a one time giveaway or single marketing campaign, you may be able to find alternative vendors that can satisfy what you need. However, if you are interested in a long-term partner that looks at your business needs holistically, brings the latest trends to you, continuously works on improving its service portfolio to better serve you, and has your cost optimization at heart, you will want to reach out to Outgage. At the same time, I enjoy that they never try to sell me anything; it feels like an ongoing brainstorming session to find ways to improve my business and marketing efforts.

It’s not super user friendly compared to other apps I have used in the past, and it also offers not as many partners. One feature that would improve it, would be connecting award bucks to a digital credit card. That way employees can spend it on what they want without having to get a visa gift card which is the current solution/ work around

I am giving a "middle of the road" rating of 5 because I don't have experience with Awardco support. I have never had to reach out to the support team for anything, so I don't have any substantial feedback in this particular area. The program is so easy to use, so I've never needed to contact the support team.

We had a dedicated person and he went over everything we needed to know on how to operate the system. Lots of examples and test environment was used

It was very in depth and easy to understand. There was a dedicated person that was assigned to our account and that made it easier to move forward. The process was very easy to follow

Motivosity is hands down better. Easier for companies with employees in multiple countries, easier to spend the money you receive, easier to gift the money, easier to interact with and more user friendly. However, Motivosity is also more expensive and I find that cost is hard to swallow when you want to just invest the money into employees
