Azure Cloud Services vs. Sage HRMS

Microsoft Azure Cloud services is a good choice for hosting web applications, based on requirements it can be simple websites or complex web services as well as it provides automating application development and deployment pipeline. It's less appropriate in case of cost-effective option for organizations with tight budget constraints. For very basic static websites, Microsoft Azure's offerings might be seen as overkill.

Sage HRMS is a software that fits in all organizations whether small or large and this makes it the most suitable HR solution as it will help you manage your workforce even if it may appear small. The software has analytics and reporting tools that are applicable in performance management where you will use them in assessing the productivity of your employees and plan on how to improve further as a workforce. It further helps in employee on-boarding, payroll management, and talent management

• Effective service management and performance monitoring capability.
• Reliable security management with excellent access controls.
• Best orchestration and easy configuration management.
• Easy on compatibility testing and change management.

• Ability to see history (like job history) easily at a glance.
• Ability to make changes easily.

• Latency and bandwidth as we often see gap here
• There were many challenges as a developer while migrating our DB from on prem to cloud
• System downtime is also one issue that can be improved

• We changed our chart of accounts. The system does not allow you to change the numbering format, so we had to start over with new databases.
• The tax return portion of the software does not file local taxes. We would definitely like to see this functionality in the future.
• The payroll piece does not handle complicated move up and move downs for union pay. This could definitely be improved upon.

I do not work with this software anymore, and I am not involved with the renewal of it. However, if I were, I would still suggest using it unless something better was introduced

As a certificate developer and consultant, I love using Azure, it's interface is developer friendly with well guidance and support. Also there are a lot of service for any work, Azure ecosystem is sufficient to complete your all developments needs. So based on that I feel Azure is good and gives better developer experience.

I feel AWS offers a robust and versatile platform for cloud infrastructure and services. It's scalability, reliability array of tools make it a top choice for businesses of all sizes. AWS has better open source communities such as Linux, Jenkins and GitHub in comparison to Azure service cloud

Sage HRMS was very cost effective for a non-profit. It does all that we needed as a company and more. It also allows us to handle payroll ourselves instead of outsourcing [it].

• there can be a high ROI when processing payroll in house compared to outsourced. Not to mention the flexibility you gain.
