Bookafy vs. Resource Guru

In my experience, Bookafy has pretty much the same features as the other well-known scheduling apps. In terms of functionality, the two obstacles I experience were setting up a hidden (not shown on the main booking page) meeting for special bonus calls you don't want anyone to have access to. Yes, you can set up a paid meeting and give someone a coupon to access it free but that seems like an extra unnecessary step. The other limitation was how ugly it looks to embed meetings on a website. The scheduler looks fine inside Bookafy, but when embedded, it doesn't flow as well. For everything else, it works well. If you want to sync the scheduler with email marketing systems, most of the integrations work through Zapier so that can be an additional cost. Bookafy focuses on the meeting schedules.

It is very well suited when different branches of the company reside in different countries or time zones. It allows the project manager to efficiently keep track of the progress of their team members. It reduces the need for intensive calls where the manager asks for an extensive check in and update from each individual person. It also allows the project manager to update tasks and timelines as needed.

• Easy to embed the appointment form to websites
• You can show off professionalism while booking meetings
• You can sync the appointments with Google Calendar
• Easy to use interface, so you don't waste time trying to figure out things around.

• We can color by client, project, booker for clear picture.
• There are filters to select particular resources for need of our event.
• We can easily see booked and free time.

• Lack of calendar customization.

Bookafy is more advanced and has more features that I need comparing to these other brands. Calendly is very basic while Bookfy offers more robust features.

Resource Guru is the only product of it's kind that I have used regularly. Slack is comparable in allowing communication between teams, but doesn't have nearly the functionality of Resource Guru. Resource Guru is the only product that I am aware of that manages tasks and deadlines between various team members, and can be accessed by all members.

• It's easy to assign work to the resources.
• Resources can be filtered with various criteria as per the project needs.
• We get clear picture of assigned tasks and hence project progress.
