We demoed some of these other integration options. The learning curve seemed a bit steeper and the offerings less robust, so we did not pursue very far. I cannot speak to the others much. We have not had a reason to stray from Celigo.
Chose Celigo
This is night and day. In my experience, MEC had poor customer support, we had no idea where anything lived and all integrations were hidden. It was impossible for us to find root cause of anything.
Chose Celigo
Celigo works well in the small to medium organisations where the need for integration is tactical to support business operations, when there's no appetite for large investment in the integration space, and when the integration team is minimal or non-existent. Celigo is easy to …

I prefer SAP Integration Suite over Workato since the latter is best at business-led automation and lack robust operational Technology (OT) features.

SAP Integration Suite integrates with SAP BTP, thus allowing us to use capabilities like SAP AI Core and Joule.
Chose SAP Integration Suite
SAP Integration Suite is pretty good tool for integration compared to Boomi . SAP Integration Suite is should focus on licensing part where Boomi is provide much cheaper price for us as a long term customer .
Chose SAP Integration Suite
It is not direct comparison of the product but more like a conjuction of the use cases. Postman flows are for sure present but offer niche solution compared to enterprise grade solution by SAP.
Chose SAP Integration Suite
All tools are capable of doing integration but SAP IS is cost efficient. Better suits for customer having SAP as backend.

Celigo is great for transaction-based integrations (which is most), but not great for when you want to replicate data from one system to a database. For example, if you are trying to get all of your NetSuite data into a Snowflake database. However, if you are trying to get data out of NetSuite and create transactions in another system, it's perfect.

In our case to have a such a poweful middleware in the cloud, give us a lot of benefits such as maintenance and support. In the integration part to be able to connect SAP and Non SAP applications makes SAP Integration Suite a good investment when our master data in this case is in S4HANA. Less appropriate is that sometimes the updates in production tenant failed and they have to downgrade or repair the issues. Affecting the usage of the tool. I guess SAP team have to be more aware of performing the changes and tested well on development environments and then when they know for sure that is the correct way to go with the update put it in production.

  • Could be even more business friendly with programming language abstracted
  • Ability to simulate the integration flow instead of a real run
  • Have some kind of an AI-assistant suggesting the optimal design of an integration flow as it's being built (best practice assistant)

SAP Integration Suite is very helpful to us in many ways to manage purchase procedures, stocks, and data of vendors and suppliers. Also, it helps to manage data for service providers. SAP Integration Suite has the tool to conduct training and evaluation. Unique features like the cloud can provide access from any place and by any device is very helpful.

Usability
There is a bit of a learning curve, but not bad. Once you get a flow or two under your belt, there will be no stopping you. You will start to see possibilities and ways to apply automation and integration throughout your business. It becomes fun to look for additional ways to save money, time, and improve accuracy

The user interface is messy and not intuitive. It has a steep learning curve, and flows developed around are easy to make a mess with layout and can be difficult to follow. The debugging is also quite difficult, it takes some time to figure out how to follow the flow and examine data. Error handling is also difficult and not intuitive, it is better to let some errors leak and monitor through ALM.

Support Rating
Had some rough patches in the beginning, but they were resolved.

The support for SAP Integration Suite is satisfactory. We leverage SAP support through our manage services partner. So far, we have not had many major issues. One concern, to make our rating a ten, would be turnaround time on high priority incidents. SAP Integration Suite drives our key business functions forward. Without a reasonable service level agreement on turnaround, we sometimes find us running into issues running pay, etc.
