Commun.it vs. SocialPilot

For a small business or individual Commun.it could be used to quickly and efficiently grow an audience. Using the featured hashtag functionality in particular means that, instead of wading through various searches on Twitter, all the information is at your finger-tips and you can act on it accordingly. I think it would have benefits for businesses of multiple sizes however a smaller business might find the price-point prohibitive.

Content creators who want to be everywhere at once with limited time! Or those who really see the importance in a content calendar (I know for most it's important - for me, not so much)

• Commun.it recommends good content to Tweet if you provide the right hashtags or topics to search.
• Commun.it makes it really easy to thank each now Twitter follower and to reach out to influencers that you may have neglected.

• Be prepared, you'll receive a lot of emails from commun.it. They keep you engaged by reminding you to return to your dashboard. But they also will send several emails trying to get you to upgrade.
• "Thanks for the retweet" and "Thanks to the high-value members" aren't tactics I like to use on Twitter.
• On the free version, you are only allowed 20 actions a day. This goes by in a flash, would love to have a few more.

Due to the huge advancements in AI now, while I still love SocialPilot and have no intention of leaving, I'm excited and hopeful that SocialPilot is working on more AI integrations to build up this platform as a better, well-rounded tool for creators. For example, Beacons is inspirational regarding the all-in-one tools (not the same, nor a competitor, but worth checking out).

I've not had to use support

Tweepsmap's audience and engagement tools aren't as powerful as Commun.it's, but they're far more trustworthy. I also like their tool for detecting inactive users (followed accounts who haven't tweeted in 2 or 6 months). I would actually consider shelling out for their paid tools, which sound quite useful (for instance, location-based statistics).
