Accessibility is there, and it is easy to instruct our clients on setting up a remote session; however, it always gets in the way if the client's PC requires a system admin username and password just to install the app. It would be great if the no-download version had all the same capabilities as the remote control session to avoid this.

It is useful in all the cases where users have to work via rdp. The possibility of making available to users only the applications they need is very useful. However, it is less appropriate in environments where there is a need for large computing power such as design studios. It would require a hardware requirement that is too economically high to be justified

  • The rescue lens feature has come in handy to save us plenty of times. being able to have eyes on the end users' side to see how things are actually physically connected.
  • Having the ability to collaborate with other technicians is a feature that I have not seen in other applications. normally the other person has to connect as well which results in lowered connection speed on the end user's side since 2 connections are running.
  • The tools to be able to locate and audit sessions are also very valuable for measuring the performance of my technicians.

  • The custom client doesn't always work with all applications, I solved it by configuring connections with classic RDP on individual PCs
  • the procedure for activating and renewing the licenses was not very clear to me, I went by trial and error but in the end I was able to activate it
  • nothing else in particular, everything works in a simple and intuitive way

We may continue using Logmein as it is the best remote support application in terms of connection latency and control. However, since several of our client sites have stricter security policies they block this application and we have to switch to other ways which is inconvenient

Sometimes connecting with a PIN has a delay that confuses users. If there is a way to minimize the delay, that would be ideal. If the user's individual account does have administrator permissions, the user has to click on elevated prompts even if administrator credentials are on hand. Yes, except if the user's individual account does not have administrator permissions. I have never gotten the option to input the admin credentials and start as system server to work across hundreds of sessions. I absolutely dread using LogMeIn Rescue during this type of scenario and may even need to use an alternative temporarily. Frequently clashes with users' security software. Otherwise, I love the application.

I'd say support for LogMeIn is ideal because I haven't ever been in a situation where additional support was necessary. The program runs so efficiently and simply that nothing was needed beyond initial training that was provided by my company. I am saying this as a user that strictly uses the technician console

It is much easier to manage and implement. Even if it is not very intuitive the management of licenses is still better than that of the Remote Desktop environment of Microsoft. With Microsoft, the limit is the ability to simply access the remote desktop, while with TS Plus you can manage individual applications so as to give the user only the tools he needs.

  • LogMeIn Rescue helps to transfer sensitive data to clients machines directly instead of emailing the information.
  • Helps us document issues and record videos of things happening that are hard to prove to development
  • Sometimes LogMeIn Rescue closes out or will not allow you to login to a computer but works on another day without an issue. This is difficult for clients to understand and causes friction with relationships
