ContactMonkey vs. Perceptyx

If you are a sales rep and want to know if your email has been opened without having to use receipts this is perfect. However, many people find this intrusive and inappropriate. I don't believe in this day and age there should be a moral outrage to track your emails but it happens. I particularly like it for Outlook 2016. I've tried Yesaware but found this better suited.

I think the software is well suited for targeted feedback for large organizations. I think product marketing teams could use the software as well. I think it competes directly and does a better job than SurveyMonkey. The platform feels more mature. I think this would work very well for politicians to be able to use to invite constituents to provide feedback on local, state, and national govt.

• Uploads information from business cards to your current contact database through your camera phone
• Great resource for looking up people before meetings and doing other types of background research
• Use information found on the internet to fill in information about your contact

• I really like the customizability of the platform. As a user it is easy to navigate and provides ample opportunity to write in reviews.
• The ability to save information on the platform is great. So users can stop and start a review at their leisure
• I really like the ability to email to remind users to finish a survey. This keeps users engaged and reminds them to finish.

• Salesforce integration seems unnecessary
• Has refresh issues occasionally
• Can cause slowing issues for Outlook
• Doesn't have integration with Outlook.com/Exchange

• Offering suggestions on how best to provide feedback in comment boxes. Perhaps forcing the creators of the surveys to list examples to help reviewers
• I think having emojies would help as well instead of the standard language.
• Perhaps adding a mobile platform for customers to send out to their workforce

Contact Monkey was the best solution for Outlook 2016. While Yesaware is a good product with Microsoft 365 integration, I found it expensive and too feature rich for what I needed. If you are just trying to find something simple that does what you need well and cheap, this is the best solution on the market. It does have Salesforce integration but I just use the Salesforce product that is free and provides the same or more prospect info.

I like Perceptyx because it feels like a more mature platform. This is what the executive team at my company has used to survey. The ability to integrate into email platforms to send out to the whole organization is valuable, and the ability to save answers gives employees time to think and carefully provide the best answers to the survey questions

• I've found companies that have shared my email and opened the email 20-60 times but never responded. It gave me an absolute understanding that this was a hot company
• Sometimes knowing your email is being opened can be very frustrating if you cannot get a response. However, at least you know it was read and they are not interested.
• My boss and fellow employee's don't like the fact that I know where they are located. It's somewhat divisive in that sense.
