The IBM® Maximo® Application Suite (MAS) comes in two packages: client managed software or software as a service (SaaS). MAS is purchased using a simplified licensing and usage model leveraging a credit-based system called AppPoints. This provides the flexibility to easily add functionality and users, scale your business, and pay only for what you use with a single entitlement.
DataRobot can be used for risk assessment, such as predicting the likelihood of loan default. It can handle both classification and regression tasks effectively. It relies on historical data for model training. If you have limited historical data or the data quality is poor, it may not be the best choice as it requires a sufficient amount of high-quality data for accurate model building.

The software is very well-suited to asset lifecycle management and system condition monitoring. User-friendliness of the product and effectiveness in managing work orders. The software's pricing is much more affordable than that of other EAM systems. Many improvements are needed in the customer support services department. Delays in response are costly.

DataRobot helps, with algorithms, to analyze and decipher numerous machine-learning techniques in order to provide models to assist in company-wide decision making.
Our DataRobot program puts on an "even playing field" the strength of auto-machine learning and allows us to make decisions in an extremely timely manner. The speed is consistent without being offset by errors or false-negatives.
It encompasses many desired techniques that help companies in general, to reconfigure in to artificial intelligence driven firms, with little to no inconvenience.

The platform itself is very complicated. It probably can't function well without being complicated, but there is a big training curve to get over before you can effectively use it. Even I'm not sure if I'm effectively using it now.
The suggested model DataRobot deploys often not the best model for our purposes. We've had to do a lot of testing to make sure what model is the best. For regressive models, DataRobot does give you a MASE score but, for some reason, often doesn't suggest the best MASE score model.
The software will give you errors if output files are not entered correctly but will not exactly tell you how to fix them. Perhaps that is complicated, but being able to download a template with your data for an output file in the correct format would be nice.

Usually, we have problems with the mobile apps. For about seven out of ten customers, we need to use third-party mobile applications. It’s been a rollercoaster — Anywhere was terrible, then Maximo Mobile for 8 was pretty good, and now with Maximo 9, it’s problematic again. So it’s been ups and downs. But the good thing is that the architecture is open, so we can use third-party applications or even develop our own add-ons. Still, IBM could do this better.

DataRobot presents a machine-learning platform designed by data scientists from an array of backgrounds, to construct and develop precise predictive modeling in a fraction of the time previously taken. The tech invloved addresses the critical shortage of data scientists by changing the speed and economics of predictive analytics. DataRobot utilizes parallel processing to evaluate models in R, Python, Spark MLlib, H2O and other open source databases. IBM Maximo Application Suite has provided a solution to our desire to consolidate the multiple applications serving the layers of the Procurement process we has been accustomed to using. By consolidating applications, licensing and software costs are reduced, and the overall headcount to support the various applications was able to be minimized.

The IBM Maximo Application Suite is well known for inventory management solutions. This solution is in use by many corporations but mostly I have seen its use in Ports, defense and aerospace industries. Some of the benefits are 1. asset tracking is amazing 2. Maintenance cost is less 3. Reduced inspection costs 4. Less downtime 5. It allows customization 6 Simplify data management 7. Highly adaptable

As I am writing this report I am participating with Datarobot Engineers in an complex environment and we have their whole support. We are in Mexico and is not common to have this commitment from companies without expensive contract services. Installing is on premise and the client does not want us to take control and they, the client, is also limited because of internal IT regulations ,,, soo we are just doing magic and everybody is committed.

I have regularly contacted IBM Support to report issues and raise requests for issues we face during project implementations. The response from them has overall been good and to the point, and they get back to us within a day or 2 and guide us through the process of fixing it or providing an interim fix of the product

Implementation of IBM MAS as a service provider has been easy. The functionality in the OEM space has been the best of its class with all related modules and application subject to maintenance

I've done machine learning through python before, however having to code and test each model individually was very time consuming and required a lot of expertise. The data Robot approach, is an excellent way of getting to a well placed starting point. You can then pick up the model from there and fine tune further if you need.

As a computerized maintenance management system i do not have experience of any other system. The only experience I have is for Maximo and it works excellent for me. I am using many modules available in Maximo and all of these modules are almost fulfilling all of my business needs.

Being the core business of my organization, IBM Maximo had a complete ROI for our objectives. We are able to successfully maintain and offer multiple solutions based on our interaction with Maximo.
Based on our contracts, we are able to provide a great partnership with IBM thru Maximo and it's tools.
