Read full review ETQ Reliance is great for quality systems in which different levels of personnel are accessing common documents. The user interface and basic functionality is very intuitive, and thus easy to navigate for both novice and experienced technical users. It is also great at organizing tasks and maintaining document attributes. Overall, great for the purposes of an audit. For more advanced users, it may be limited in functionality. Data analytics and related visualization is more easily done after exporting data and manipulating in third-party software programs.

On hold non-conformance Management: easy to pull up new and old information seamlessly and link it to meetings. Meetings: allows us to have great traceability of meeting minutes with attached information—auditors love it! Fixed assets: depreciation posts to the general ledger at the asset level, generating inordinately large numbers of relatively meaningless transactions. Process cost: PIT display lacks many useful fields, including vendor name and number. Financial reports carry beyond two decimal places. Report structures are not sensibly arranged, and many reports imbed data within text fields, making manipulation and reporting more time-consuming. Read full review Support Rating Very poor, try to call company support as a last resort as I know how much time it will take out of my day without getting a solution. It seems like the help desk does not have appropriate experience using the software. It would be nice of there was a separate support line to call for more experienced users of the software so we don't get someone just reading from the help file.
Read full review At the basic support level, you get adequate support, but you are likely to be passed around from one tech support rep to another even on the same problem. Some of the support staff are both technically strong and have good interpersonal communication skills, others less so for the latter. Recently it seems that ETQ wants to monetize more of their support services both in multi-level support as well as in seeming to move some services from included in annual support to a fee basis (for on-premise deployment).
Read full review Implementation Rating It is nice that an IQMS employee helps you with the implementation, however they were more of a technical resource than a project management resource. I wish they could provide a more off the shelf timeline given their experience in implementing the system.
Read full review Alternatives Considered This is the only software that I have used so I am unable to rate it based on another type of software. My experience with IQ is extensive though, and have worked and learned in all areas and love how this program works. The many different modules are relatively easy to learn and they offer support if you need additional instruction.
Read full review Prior to ETQ we were using spreadsheets and shared drives and the ability to pull information was challenging. It was a very manual process done by many people. Now, it is somewhat manually input by one or two people and the retrieval of information can be done by anyone anywhere with ease.

The control gained over our inventory is a tremendous asset and allows to see in an instant whether or not we can meet our customers' demands. Read full review Has saved a lot of time in preparing for audits. In an organization with multiple franchises, the cost savings from reduced man-hours is well in the $500K+ per year range. Cloud capability has saved on document storage and hardware costs. The cost of storing online is low and has saved up to $100K per year in hardware and data maintenance costs.
