Additional DetailsBASIC PLAN INCLUDES TIME SHEET INCLUDES IPHONE & ANDROID APP Log your time on any job you have access to and get a reminder if you forget to submit hours. You can log your time on any job; billable, non-billable, customer jobs, and internal jobs. WorkBook also keeps track of absence entries and holiday requests. CUSTOMERS & PROJECTS Add as many customers, contacts, and projects/jobs as you like. Jobs are connected to clients and each job can be set to be billable, non-billable, internal, or a client job. COLLABORATION Collaborate with your colleagues and clients and keep track of comments, news, events, and notifications. Receive notifications whenever you need to approve anything, or a warning if something is about to go wrong. FILE SHARING Save all of your files in WorkBook and benefit from having them being kept secure in one, central location. Whenever a new customer or job is added, WorkBook will automatically create a folder structure (decided by you), allowing you to upload all of your documents and briefings to WorkBook. WorkBook will connect directly to your local file server or online storage, which means that you can save your files locally and have them be shown in WorkBook. Moreover, we have options to integrate with Google Drive or Dropbox.

My recommendation very much depends on who the colleague is. I would recommend WorkBook if it is an accountant, project manager or someone similar, and if the setup is done within WorkBook and passwords, etc. are being used within WorkBook only. I would tell IT Managers to avoid the application and think twice in terms of access management etc.

Oncontact is an excellent software/service, and it covers a tremendous breadth of usage scenarios. The customization means that customers can adapt it as they see fit. About the only place where I don't see it as a great fit is in minimal implementations. A lot is going on, and using it for small tasks isn't the best use of the software.

The company has been using Oncontact for some time now. Many of the business processes require the use of a CRM software package. It helps solve some pretty serious problems, and overall the cost is very justified. Also, the developer is very good at keeping it up to date and introducing new functionality.

  • Oncontact provided many, but not all of the features of Salesforce.com. However, the complexity and cost involved in Salesforce.com was an overriding factor for us to use Oncontact. Not just the initial and licensing fee, but it seemed that just about everything we wanted to do involved consultants or more work or licensing. Oncontact was easier to implement out of the box, even when we did need to make customizations.
  • We looked at Microsoft 365 Business, and while it was comparable in price for the initial cost, the integration with our other software systems was not built-in, so we did not pursue it very much.
