Ducknowl vs. Affinda Resume Parser

Ducknowl team has all the features we needed, their team was very helpful in setting the account and we were live within 5 working days. We used it to hiring support team. It worked really great for these jobs since they were able to quickly short the resumes using keyword matching and also conduct one way video interviews in no time.

Affinda is especially appropriate for larger organisations, like ours with internal CRMs. For those who use a fully fledged cloud-based ATS, Affinda will not meet their needs, as Affinda is just one step in the chain.

• It can take some finagling to get the correct user access setup and running.

• Resume Parser by Affinda is a few seconds slower than the other parsers I used (Part of this may just be due to propagation delay, considering my data center is halfway around the world). Regardless, for my needs, Affinda's accuracy outweighed the extra latency.

Quick responsiveness to inquiries. Willingness to customize the product to the customer's needs.

I think it stacks up pretty well. There are some established names behind their competitors, and they have held their own. I selected Ducknowl as the best because of the features it has. The video portion of the software is superior to the other ones, and I think aside from a glitch here and there, their product is overall consistent, whereas their competitors have some notable flaws.

I was assigned this project by our operations manager. We evaluated four competing saas solutions, and after the evaluation we found that [Resume Parser by Affinda] scored best on quality, service and price, and was third best on speed. Wasn’t a hard choice.

• We needed a platform that could do video interviews and resume parsing, Ducknowl has everything we required in a single platform and at a great price.

• Time savings and easily gathers data in a useful manner to make decision making better.
