If you have a simple or small IT shop then this tool suite may be over-kill and not worth the complexity to set up

It is somewhat hard to understand the integrations into the UI. Hoping for more metric choices. Read full review Alternatives Considered Other tools I have used are more server/application-centric. CA Spectrum seems to work effectively and efficiently for network devices. Notification delays can be set to grant grace periods in case of network blips or false positives, which occur ALL the time. Other monitoring tools send event notifications immediately and would clear instantly, which while on-call can wake a technician for no reason.
Read full review Datadog seems to have more freedom to build dashboards. They have more visualization types. However, Pulse seems to be better from a cost stand point. Pulse is able to accomplish everything we need, so no need to spend the extra cost.
